I have a feeling you will also quit watching the NBA this season if things go as planned![]()
I was watching the game tonight, and I just couldn't get into it, tbh..
The game just isn't fun to watch anymore IMO..
All the PED abusers, the refs playing such a big part in every game(allowing certain defenses to get away with murder, PIs, etc), the QBs getting overpaid, the flopping and general softness of today's game, etc..
The NFL just isn't exciting anymore, I think Harlem is finished with watching the NFL, anybody feel the same way?..

lol not sad and emo enough to match my "i'm gonna quit watching sports forever
" post 18-1 meltdown, but still solid imho fwiw
Just waiting for the catman to take the bait
Nah, this game actually gave me hope for the NFL.... despite Goodell's best efforts to water down the game and make it offense-only, the past two years have shown that defense still wins championships, tbh....
Not for me. I hope we make it back next year for vengeance.
OP should stop posting and just cry it out, tbh.
Super Bowl loser's curse + Playoff Fivehead = you're fcked.... sorry dude

The pH levels in the forum... Are too damn high
i thought you were a winner at life? How can you possibly stick with a team that just took a massive anal pounding?
SB Loser's Curse + Manning's contract + John Fox as coach makes the future look bleak, bro, just like the 9ers..
History clearly shows that Denver will not make it back to the Super Bowl next year.

The Bills killed all of em.
Seattle winning the SB is horrible for the league, tbh, and this was probably the worst SB in NFL history..
It seems like the league is going downhill, it's lacking excitement..
Russell Wilson lacks charisma and he's too ugly to represent the NFL, tbh..
How so? Defense still winning championships in an offensive-skewed era is great for the league, actually, as is a team built around cheap young talent winning in an era of veterans getting grotesquely overpaid....
As a Donks fan, this can't be worse for you than 55-10 was, sand this was probably the worst SB in NFL history..n....
That I can agree with, the regular season is boring as now thanks to Roger's rule changes....It seems like the league is going downhill, it's lacking excitement..
I was 1 year old when that game was played, tbh..
TBH I think the NFL is just meh. I watch because I like sports, but the quality is lacking. It's not parity, it's a lack of talent. NBA is suffering the same to a lesser degree though. It's to watered down and there is just not 30 teams' worth of talent.
saying Wilson is too ugly to be the face yet adores the ing fivehead
I've been disappointed with the quality of the NFL for the last few season and enjoy college football much more. I really think Goodell is horrible overall as a commissioner and he and the owners care only about the money while sacrificing the quality of the game.
Good responses, tbh, good points all-around, good discussion..
The NFL has become too vanilla..
I doubt you make this thread if the Broncos won, where you would be heralding Manning as the second coming, tbh
I disagree and think that the NFL overall talent is at an all time high and reasonably spread out. There's quality players all over the board and yet there are still a handful of upsets/compe ive games from lesser teams.
Major upsets from this year:
-Rams beating NO
-Vikings beating Philly
-Arizona in Seattle
-San Diego in Denver
-Jets beating New England
Close calls/compe ive games that looked like blowouts on paper:
-Cleveland almost winning in New England
-Tampa Bay at 0-8 blowing a 21 point lead and losing in OT at Seattle!
-Denver and Dallas in that crazy shootout early in the year
I agree with you in the NBA, but I can't think of too many teams in the NFL that have just completely laid down against the top teams (other than Jacksonville + Houston)
The NFL is exciting tbh... most fans can hope for a tle. Not long ago the NFC West was a joke and was called the worst division in all of football. Now they sent back to back teams in the SB.
It's especially noticeable because the lack of true NFL quality QB's is glaring. No other sport (maybe Baseball because of pitching, although they don't play every game like NFL QB's) relies on one player so much and there are just not 30 quality NFL QB's. Its a tough position and not everyone should be HOF, but there aren't even legit NFL starters outside of about 15 or so.
It's a watered down league that outside of a few moments isn't that entertaining. Its the reason Red Zone is so popular. The games themselves are so boring that the only thing that keeps them entertaining is fast forwarding to only the good parts![]()
