I made a thread too but little french got Bruno decided to send it to the guillotine.
He gets the nod for Rangers-Cardinals in 2011 but that's it![]()
He'll be back to tell me how brilliant Denver's front office is.
I wonder if gots on this site will start calling Wilson elite, since you know, only elite QB's win superbowls
there were morons that actually called Flacco elite after last year's SB
there are morons that still believe Eli is elite
Bruno's expanding his empire into the NFL Forum now?
Imagine it was Greg Oden. Bruno just worked up the courage to try his hand in the NBA forum.
Aikman was trying to claim that during the game, saying he considers the term "game-manager" to be an insult.
lol dirk4mvp wouldn't do me like that unless i made an lol snead thread.
Im 4-0 betting Peyton in the regular season and 1-0 betting against Peyton in the postseason![]()
This isn't exactly relevant to the Super Bowl discussion, but Eli is elite in the postseason. The stats, and the wins prove that. He blows in the regular season, which is the polar opposite of his brother, who is amazing in the regular season and blows in the playoffs.
As for Flacco, he's a very good quarterback who has led his team to multiple AFC North division wins, AFC le games, and threw 11 TDs and no INTs in our playoff run last year. Maybe he's not "elite", but he played like it then and has a track record of winning.
Wilson isn't elite, but he doesn't cost his team wins usually and is pretty clutch. I think he could be elite, as he is young and has already won a Super Bowl. Sky's the limit for that kid, he'll be a winner on his team for the near future.
no doubt. these qb's have both had great runs. it takes much more than that to be what most consider elite. Eli had 2 great postseason runs, and 3 others to be forgotten. in the meanwhile, in the regular season he has been just above average over the course of his career, having only once had a 2-1 TD/INT ratio
I agree, I think "elite" status is almost an advanced Hall of Fame ticket. There aren't many QBs that have that going for them, maybe 5 at the most.
i agree, yet many had the knee jerk reaction of calling Eli/Flacco elite after their superbowl performances, which is sort of what i was jabbing at here
