tbh with how bad Brady looked against that ing Denver defense, I would have loved to seen them play the Seahawks
It would have been a massacre too, although imo it wouldn't have been quite as bad only because I think the NE special teams would perform better, the team would have been better prepared to play (Belichick vs Fox), and Brady would just duck for cover and take 10 sacks instead of throwing ducks that get pick-sixed.

    Seattle 34
    New England 8

i could see that. i would guarantee that the pats wouldn't open the game with a boneheaded safety, but based on their last SB, i'm going to reserve that comment (although that wasn't nearly as boneheaded)

    The look on Manning's face.

Regarding this thread, misleading record is misleading. I don't know who the second QB with most loses is but I'm pretty sure it's an all-time great. In fact I'm sure the first ten QBs on this list would be all-time great QBs.

Can you provide a list of QB's with most playoff loses to see if I'm right or wrong?

I said that among the QB's with most playoff loses most (if not all) must be all-time greats, regarding this comment you said I don't know nothing about football. If I find a list of QB's with most playoff loses and I end up being right, does it mean that you are the one that knows nothing about football?

i don't see how can anyone say that it would have been the same if it was the pats.. it's not like seattle did much anyway, a safety with no reason whatsover, a kickoff return td, a fumble that was so weak even i wouldn't do it and two interceptions that had no chance of being completed. It really wasn't a football game, it was a joke. niners and saints almost won.

WHAT? Even if Pats played, the end result would've been the same: another "elite" biting the dust. I swear you foreigners needs to focus on another sport and let the Americans handle this one. Canadians get a pass.

I'd rather have Manning than Romo. At least your team gets to the Super Bowl and wins one out of three with him. 3 conference championships too. Romo has one playoff win.

I didn't find a "QB's with most playoff losses" list per se so maybe a guy is missing but I'm pretty sure most of them are here.

    Manning - 12
    Favre - 11
    Marino - 10
    Brady - 8
    Kelly - 8
    Montana - 7
    Elway -7
    McNabb - 7
    Moon - 7
    Staubach - 6
    Young - 6

solid take tbh. Belichick would've at least had some back up plans or made better adjustments, per the par, than Fox. That game was such a massacre in all phases.

some truth to that image. Momentum is everything and went right out the window on the opening play. still doesn't excuse some of Manning's mistakes but snowballed from that first play.

Seeing that list makes me realize that seeing all of these "playoff losers", are actually, in fact, mostly winners in some respects. Joe Montana has 7? That's surprising to learn. Then you have Brady with 8, who has 3 Super Bowls and arguably 4 if Welker didn't drop.

Staubach, Young, and Elway aren't really considered "chokers" or anything. I think this "most playoff loses" list doesn't really mean much because for the most part, the quarterbacks aren't the sole reason for a team losing.

But that is easy as to deduct if you are not a dumb like Trill Clinton. Common sense says that the QB's with the most playoffs losses are the ones that play a lot of playoff games and those usually are elite Qb's.

Are people arguing Peyton is not elite, all-time? If so, that's stupid, but if you separate the seasons (RS and PS) you can make a case.

11-12 playoff record--although it means you're a boss in the regular season--doesn't mean you're an elite playoff QB: It's not as if Peyton was hamstrung by the defense, either--here are the Colts/Donks scores in his eliminiation losses:

    1999: 19-16 to ans
2000: 23-17 to Miami in OT
    2002: 41-0 Jets
    2003: 24-14 PAats
    2004: 20-3 Pats
2005: (best Colts team): 21-18, Steelers (if not for shady Polamalu reversal, 10)
    2006: WON SB 29-17, 22 offensive pts
2007: Forget, but it was a loss to Billy Volek at home like 27-23 or some
    2008: 23-20 San Diego
2009: 31-17 New Orleans, pick 6 in SB
    2010: 17-16 Jets
2012: 38-35 Ravens, 21 Broncos offensive pts. To be fair this is Rahim Moore's fault, but Peyton pulled a Favre in OT
2013: 43-8, Denver defense gave up 13 pts despite TOs and short fields while the game was still compe ive.

He's culpable for maybe all but 2 of those losses.
