Danny Green starting tonight per Pop.
"@JMcDonald_SAEN: Pop expects Green to be rusty after layoff. "I'm expecting him to go about 0 for 8 with six turnovers.""
Well alright, good stuff!
The pieces are coming back into place.
His shot will be rusty. I believe the injury was on his shooting hand... Hopefully he can get some rhythm back tonight against the Pelicans.
I hope we aren't rushing players back.
Was on his non shooting hand. Kawhi's injury is what you are referring to.
And yes! Happy one of our two perimeter defenders are back.
Was Green expected back so soon?..
Great news on Green. If Shannon Brown can find his form the Spurs will have the option of throwing two plus defenders out on the court for the first time in weeks.
come on Daniel Verde
help these boys get a win tonight.
He was out exactly 3 weeks. I am surprised he came back so soon.
Looks like Green drank plenty of this
Finally one of our best defenders is back. Hopefully the defense with Splitter and Green improves now...![]()
"@JMcDonald_SAEN: Spurs starters per Pop: Parker, Joseph, Green, Diaw, Duncan."
Hopefully Diaw remains in the starting lineup
Idk about Joseph starting....
Is not too soon for Green?
I don't like Ayres obviously, but he defended Anthony Davis well last game. I wonder if he will do the same this time.

Danny Green's left hand is healed, but he'll have to play with extra padding for the next two weeks. Middle/ring finger wrapped together.
Shannon Brown is a terrible defender tbh.
