For once, I agree with you.
They'll certainly improve when injured players return, but this theory that we'll suddenly become dominant is just ridiculous. This team has looked shaky since 6. They need a spark.
rofl all i meant to say is if this is the kind of effort we are going to get from the Spurs, we might as well tank the game. So you claiming I'm saying they are done is completely off. I never said tank the season. I said this team was going to struggle without their top players for a while. Because I said that, does it mean I said the Spurs are done? yet you chose to attack me like I'm robdiaz or some other cliffjumper. Lol

slow your roll fool, or i will jump
Backpedal some more. You said this team was done and should tank the game. I never accused you of saying we should tank the season. I was pointing out that it's not even halftime and you have to talk about what a Lakers fan has said about me. That's ing hilarious dude. Get a grip.
Why are you guys so sensitive? TBH. Do you guys change tampons at the half? TBH
Lakers are our mortal enemies. They are only to be uttered with disgust.![]()
Yes, they def need a spark, who knows when or if it'll come though.
Thoughts on the 1st half..
- The perimeter defense is embarrassing, tbh..they can't stop penetration and they're just too small..
Green played decent defense, but Joseph got torched by Gordon, and somehow, the perimeter defense allowed Anthony Morrow to score several shots off the dribble..
Green and Leonard will need to play 40 minutes per game in the playoffs at this rate, since the rest of the perimeter defenders are some of the worst in the league, especially Belinelli..
- Duncan was obviously terrible, maybe his worst half of the season, tbh..
- Splitter played well, he was the best defensive player for the Spurs in the 1st half, needs more minutes in the 2nd..
- Still the same problems without Ginobili and Kawhi, I don't know who is going to score for the Spurs in the 2nd half..
Predicted a loss, I'm going to stick with it, although the Pelicans' lack of talent could help the Spurs in the 2nd half..
This is true.
At least the Blazers lost to the Wizards... sucks Memphis is choking against OKC...
Cue the "zomg Memphis sucks we got lucky to play them therefore we're bad" talk.![]()
Damn Wizards start playing like the Heat with the Spurs rolling into town. John Wall licking his chops.
I don't know how Cry Havoc still takes game thread comments so seriously, there's no need to get angry over them, you should know this by now, tbh..
Dude, all im saying is anyone can make excesses for anything if they think about it. Yes things are rough and not easy but these are not the only reasons why the Spurs are losing.
Also NO's roster is pretty much scrub city other then maybe a player or 2 players and those 2 players arnt even actually that staller yet. Sometimes you gotta just man-up and say you got beat and just try to improve.
Memphis usually picks it up in the 2nd half but Refkc will be in full effect by then.
Gonna need a lot of Patty's 3s... the problem is Patty plays much better at home than on the road...
why is Cojo still on Gordon????? smh...
Yeah, I said this game was a loss before we played. Again, I'm not saying it's an indication that we suck. We're just shorthanded. Simple as that.![]()
Just stupid to see people continually ting on this team. They were doing it when we were in 1st place in the ing West, FFS. It makes the game threads so much more laborious to read.
Wall is going to challenge Parker and Parker always (almost) falls for that kind of challenge. Walls is faster than Parker at this point and Parker will have to engage a lot of self-discipline to avoid getting sucked into a distraction. Hope he can pull it off.
