Yeah the Wizards are gonna be a tough opponent. They're a playoff team this year. Spurs have to be ready.

Bonner's line is hilarious. 3 steals 2 blocks +13 in 14 minutes but most importantly NO ERRORS

Beautiful. It's like the team came together in the 4th. It also doesn't hurt for tony to play like last year's tony. Best win in month's tbh. Let's see if they can continue to grow from this on this grueling roadtrip.

They've been praising the Spurs all night, and their color guy was the Spurs' announcer years ago IIRC, tbh..
Well it's pretty damned easy to talk up a team that you're stomping. "Man, these guys are sooooo good and we're *beating* them, what does that say about us?" But the minute the script gets flipped suddenly they start talking about how the Spurs are struggling this season.

Danny Green really makes this team look much more young and athletic, he was key in the comeback.

Normally, I'd say consider the team we're playing and their record...but the Pelicans play hard and oh yeah, we're still missing Kawhi and Manu...so good point!
Well if your gonna say this you also cant count out NO missing 3 of their key players, but it's still nice to get a win to start the RR.

Kawhi too. Our defense isn't a D that blows teams out of the building like that ridiculous prime Pistons-era D. It's a defense that leans and wears on athletic teams and slows them down to the point where they can't make the plays that they could at the start. It's how we've done it since DRob left his prime.

The parting shot from the classy Pelicans broadcasters, "The Spurs have a bad record against the best teams this year." They've been talking about it for 3 minutes now. sticks. We kicked your ass on your floor with two of our best out, take it like men you ing pussies.
They may be classless for it but hey, the truth hurts. It's not like they're lying or anything. Oh well, here's to more good luck from here on out!

Even ignoring his defense, it's good to have a player that can get rebounds and loose balls, rather than soft-ass s like Joseph and De Colo..

Yep. Probably the most underrated player on our team.
.....and one of the most inconsistent players on our team too.

We don't need Manu to win games anymore so I wouldn't count him being out as a reason.

Yeah, it was really apparent tonight. Green really provided a spark that we seemed to have been missing, good to see him back.

tbh, I don't think CoJo is all that bad but Green just has a tougher more athletic game. His youth and athleticism really showed tonight
