Marino didn't play a full season in year one. He was 7-2 his rookie year which was more impressive than what Wilson did last season since the QB position is much easier to handle now with the watered down passing games compared to what Marino did his rookie season. Marino was 7-2 and 14-2 his first two seasons and doing it in much more difficult cir stances without an elite defense or running.
We all know that which is my point. RW has walked in and played his first 32 games, something Marino didn't do. He had a better rookie year, tying NFL records. He had a higher QB rating and nobody has won more games in their first two seasons.

BUT...here you are having to talk ..DAN MARINO..in order to finda comparision, what's they tell us about Russell Wilson? Why not use Joe Montana, Brett Favre, John Elway, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Johnny Unitas, Otto Graham, Slingin' SAmmy Baugh......WELL????????? How about RGIII....hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!! How about Andrew Luck..hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RW walked in started from day one, Marion didn't do that. RW had two seasons completing over 60% of his passes Marino didn't do that. RW had two 100 plus QB rating seasons, Marino didn't do that. RW won his Superbowl, Marino didn't do that. RW has won more games, has a better rookie year has started every game. And it's only Dan Marino who can even be in this discussion so what's that tell you?
Marino was a rookie behind a guy who was a starter in the Super Bowl and took over halfway thru the season and lit up opposing defenses as a rookie. How many rookie QBs did that back in those days? No one did that outside Marino and yet you claim you know your history. Plus, passing the football was way more difficult back in those days when the rules didn't favor the offenses. Marino basically carried the Dolphins to the Super Bowl and lost to an All-time great Niners team. You think RW would have had a chance against that team with the same roster? You don't think Marino would put up huge numbers playing in this era?

Dude shut the up sometimes. You don't know what the you're talking up. You are a ing clown.

Focus on being more balanced on offense and shoring up their secondary. The D-line is beasting and they have enough at the skilled positions, but they need to make it a bit easier for Brees and the o-line which is average overall. They need to find a way to keep their RT Zach Strief and continue to get more out of their RBs Ingram and Khry Robinson. I think Pierre Thomas is gone.
I think Pierre might be gone as well, which is sad because when he was in his prime, he was always our unsung hero and one of my favorites.

We also need Lewis and Vaccaro to be healthy.

That same Seahawks team went 8-8 with ing Tavaris Jackson. You don't think anyone of those QBs could have walked in with that roster and won a ton of games in this era where the league is more QB friendly than ever? Why is it so hard for you to put things in context and perspective? Are you disabled mentally?

Dude, I saw Marino play at ing Pitt, so cool your bull ...ok? The bottom line is he didn't play in as many games and he didn't throw as many tds. Another bottom line little guy is look at what it's taking to talk a comparison, the great DAN MARINO!!!!!!!!! That doesn't tell you something moron?

Do I really need to break down the starting 22 for ya when Marino played in the Superbowl, oh yeah....for both teams!!!!!!!!!

Barring injuries to key personal I can see this Seahawk team winning at least two more Superbowls in the next five years. With the Niners winning the rest
Ok, the reason you're a stupid old is that you're not factoring in Wilson and Kap's contracts.

They're literally getting paid peanuts in salary terms. How are they going to add or keep anyone once they get their piece of the pie.

It remains to be seen if Wilson can carry a team if they need it. I'm currently going with "no, he can't".

Dude, have you ever seen any NFL (even in your youngun days) team who couldn't add players? And neither franchise is in dire need of anything. When have the Niners not been able to sign players...well? Ttust me little man these are the two franchises that will rule things for awhile.

And there is no logical reason of any kind to not think RW could excell in any situation, only a dummy would think that.

I think we need to get rid of all the veterans on defense outside of Lofton, Lewis, and Hawthorne, and Bunkley I guess. Get rid of Harper, Greer, Vilma, Smith.

Resign Jenkins. He bounced back well this season. Get another CB and move White back to the nickel. The d-line is stacked for a long time.

On offense, get a new center, re-sign Strief. Skilled positions are fine otherwise.

I'd lay a mortgage payment that once Wilson gets paid, he never reaches another super bowl as a starter.

Only way is if he keeps restructuring his contract

BTW, this Seahawks team is capable of winning 1-2 more les.

I thought the Niners could have, but Gore is getting worse, they're gonna lose more guys on defense eventually and Kaep isn't good enough to carry the load.

I;m not to one trying my damnest to ignore reality, that would be you. So you can stick...disabled mentality...up your ass. Dummy I've seen some QB's play football that is context and perspective, moron I saw Archie Manning QB your Saints. I know what a great QB to be looks like, it's called.......experience.

Everyone who understand the game and knows the game can't say enought good things about Russell Wilson, the reason being they also see what I;m seeing. What some dummy like you knows better...hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Wrong yet again.

Gore had another 1000 yard season and averaged over 4 yards a carry...again. We do have Marcus Lattimore in waiting.

It tells me that you clearly have no idea what you're talking about when you call Wilson the best young QB ever when Marino was a million times better....
