Hopefully, he'll be back. I'd rather him go through his growing pains with another team and then come back when Pop retires, tbh.
I miss Coach Bud.
What a job he is doing at the Hawks. Makes them play hard every game even with a limited roster. Why isn't he in the talk for COY, beats me.

When we lost coach Bud and coach Brown at the same time you know the defense will be in for rough nights. When
you have 3 new coaches mistakes like Kawhi forgot about on the bench, there will be large bumps in the road to the playoffs.
The only way these guys come back after Pop retires is if they suck where they're at now...no reason for them to leave when they're having success with the team they built...makes no sense

Yup...Coach Bud signed a multiyear contract with the Hawks and if he continues to work well, they won't let him leave Atlanta
If he wants to leave, he'll be gone.
And the popsuckers always scoffed and jeered whenever he was brought up as a potential replacement. Fuggin' idiots.
Bud is about the best thing that has ever happened to the Atlanta Hawks team so I don't see him leaving there anytime soon. We just need to move on and try to give the trash Assistant coaches that we have no a chance.
