It's official ... X gonna give it to George Zimmerman -- TMZ has learned, rapper DMX has just been named Zimmerman's opponent in his upcoming celebrity boxing match.
Celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman tells us, DMX was selected out of 15,000 applicants ... all of whom wanted a piece of Zimmerman in the ring after he issued the open challenge to fight anyone willing to take him.
But no one wanted to beat Zimmerman's ass more than DMX.
As we first reported, DMX promised to massacre Zimmerman in the ring if he got the chance. To be exact, he said, "I am going to beat the living f**k out him … I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I f**k him right up." He then said he'd literally piss on George's face.
Zimmerman might actually have a chance though -- as we reported, he's been training pretty hard for months ... oh yeah, and he's only 30 years old. DMX is 43.
The boxing match will be 3 rounds.
The date, time, and location of the fight will be announced at a news conference next Wednesday.

lol zimmerman might actually win. this promoter is teetering on some real race baiting tbh. all involved should be ashamed.
I think X will lose, but not because he'll get KOD, but because he'll break all the rules, but we'll see Zim get beat up.
In all honesty though, George Zimmerman is ing insane. If any 'normal' person was in his shoes, they'd just write an autobiography and hide in Alaska somewhere. This guy is really asking for it.

This will be rated like a Floyd Mayweather fight to me....They picked DMX because they know first and foremost he has not a care in the world he if goes to prison for murder. He's been in and out of prison for the past decade or more...they know he will break the rules and they know he will break them to such an extent that it will put Zim at real danger. For the first time in my adult life..I'm proud of my country
remember yall at his best Zim was training MMA 3 days a week and as soon as he ran upon a 16 yr old kid in the night he took a straight right to the nose and went down....I suspect Zim will get afraid when face to face with DMX and go down on his own and expect the ref to bail him out...so in order for him to get a good ass whupping we need a ref in there like Mike Tyson or someone else who will turn a blind eye to the rules...like Evander Holyfield...
If DMX loses and gets knocked out by this nerd he knows he cannot come back to the black community there will be no place for him
X is pretty much finished anyways, he needs rehab. One of the greatest rappers ever though.
you're insane if you think he was great rapper....all he did was bellow out re ed ...he may have had 1 or 2 decent songs his whole career and likely only due to a catchy and / or trendy beat...dude was a garbage rapper tbh...imho
and another thing...DMX is crazy..I never liked fighting crazy dudes growing up...they may not know MMA but they certainly know crazy
What? His first album is a hip-hop classic. His first 5 albums all debuted #1. In terms of skills he's not on the level of Biggie or Rakim, but he has a similar flow to 'Pac. Any real hip hop head knows X is one of the very best. Calling him garbage shows your knowledge of hip-hop.

But you love 'Pac, right? Those two are basically the same, only that X's content is more grimey.
please just stop...DMX and PAC were from two different worlds...no comparison kid....DMX sounded like his nose was clogged up and he was rapping for a straight up Prison Yard...wack as as an artist tbh....his just doesn't appeal to me AT ALL...I mean I've never even bootlegged a single song of his...PAC on the other hand was so versatile with like this:

Of course 'Pac is better, I used to be the biggest 2Pac stan, but my point was that they're similar as artists, both grew up on the streets of NY, but 'Pac moved to Oakland when he was 17 and his style is more polished, but in terms of content they rap about the exact same things and 'Pac did the same kind of hardcore
DMX was a wannbe PAC...the fact that he's crackhead says it all tbh...the only similarity is maybe what they rapped about but style and delivery is what made PAC...plus PAC is a movie star...
DMX wanna break all the rules to " him right up" but Zimmerman would only need to break one rule to let DMX see his own blood... just pull out a gun and fire.
