He fits the mold in what you would want in a backup smallforward and the Spurs system as a career 40% 3 point shooter
Clippers desperately need a big and the Spurs could send Errors/Bonner/Baynes and some filler like De Colo
only problem is I know Dudley HATES the Spurs
"Don't want to see San Antonio Spurs win le"
"I don't like the Spurs," Dudley stated. "I was here not when they (Suns) were losing, but I was here with Steve, and I could feel his pain and emotion on his face when we played them. "I can feel the fans' passion, and I don't like the Spurs and I don't want to see them win."

That's him being passionate about being a good Sun. Would have no bearing on what would happen if he was traded to the Spurs. Which would be amazing if it happened. IMO he'd be a perfect fit. But of course it won't happen, so it's all moot tbh
He looks horrible with the Clippers.
You should use the official trade/signing ideas thread, anyway nobody cares about that scrub
Good riddance to Scrubley, dude sucks and has used "tendonitis" as an excuse for his play all year, tbh....
He has been pretty terrible this year, tbh..
He's fat and his defense has gone downhill..pass..
He said this while he was on the Suns, of course he could have been acting as a compe or and showing loyalty to the team. I'm sure all the Spurs currently feel the same way about the Heat right now so I wouldn't look much into this.
As for the trade, ya not going to happen, this would mean that our FO would actually have to get off their asses and do something. I said before but ill say again when the big 3 start retiring this FO is going to be so exposed as a lazy FO and milked the big 3 until the very last day. Just wish I would see more aggression from them all these years they could have helped TD out a bit more. Just my 2 cents.
Spurs probably five-peat with the Prime Big Three and current Medium Three in 03-07, especially if Horry was still along for the ride. This is seriously the best supporting cast that Duncan has ever had.

would be a pretty good fit. which is why it's probably not gonna happen.
Dudley used to be damn good in Phx. Dont know about him any more, but he cant be any worse than Bonner.
Ya, I haven't watched him on the Clips at all. Actually wasn't even aware he'd left Phoenix.
it's a good fit if he can play like his phoenix days. might just not be fitting into the clips system tbh
maybe he hates us so much he will come here and play chitball
Dudley would have been a perfect fit even last year. Does all the little things and is even a good 3pt shooter.
I can't see the Clips trading with the Spurs though.
True. We need another 6'4 SF to get raped by all the other SFs.
Clippers won't trade with us. No other rival team is going to either. . .that rarely ever happens in any sport for good reason. You don't wanna help out your compe ion, you wanna block them as much as possible like Indiana did with Miami via Bynum.
I think that might actually be the issue.
Some players just need to touch the ball more during the flow of the game, and suffer when put into the "catch and shoot" role. Turkoglu is one. Dudley might do well in a more motion oriented concept. CP3 is an extremely ball dominant PG.
