His knee was swollen, numerous medical reports have cited that it would swell after playing. Was it bad enough to be out 2 months? Prolly not.

"All that said, his mood was sour for a long time. That was and will be on him."

What the did they expect. They'd promised him the job after he put up numbers. Then they double crossed him and tried to get away with it because he wasn't born on this soil. Sure, they get away with it because Media provided cover over the the entire soiled process, but, that didn't include Asik. He's a rotten infection covered by an enamel crown. It continues to fester, uncle style.

Nothing is promised, like nothing is promised in real jobs. You get ed over, doesn't mean you stop working. He's getting paid 25 ing million, and he won't even suit up? him.

You know that damn good and well they promised him, dj. At least be honest about that. Sure, you had every right to renege, but, you pimped him something fierce after his good season. Instead of acquiescing to his trade demand (like everyone else does) you stonewalled him (in association with Media). You went small-time, you went bitter. Now you're rotting from the inside out. Sure, we don't "see" it because it's hidden under that enamel veneer, but, you know it's true.

Dwight wanted him here. That's why he wasn't traded before the season, it was a condition that if Dwight came, he wanted Omer to split minutes. Or else he would have been traded.

Nope, Dwight signed in part because Omer could handle alot of his minutes at the backup C.

Said Howard: “Omer might not really see the total big picture right now, and I totally understand. He’s a young guy and he wants to really be respected. I would tell him when I see him, ‘You’ve done a great job on this team. I’m going to help you and this team get better.’ He’s a big piece to us winning a championship if we’re going to make that run. He and Jeremy Lin will be very good playing with me. I’m going to do whatever I can to make those guys’ lives better. I realize how much they mean to this team.”

Big of Howard...but, Asik is an adult. Media does not let others speak for the primary subject (Asik), but, yet here they do. It's BS, dj. You got away with, after a fashion because you're in Texas. But, it's still manifesting itself and will continue to do so at the source (Asik).

Asik will either play or be gone. And that's only 13 more days.

You should have followed the template for this situation. Asik demanded to be traded very early on, but, your people got their back up and tried to brazen it out. That was stupid. You can't eat your cake(Howard) and have it(Asik) too.

Lin was benched for Beverley and didn't about it or demand a trade. He was also signed to be a starter. Also, if Asik had requested the trade and kept it quiet, then he would have likely been traded by now. Instead, it was made public, and they lose any leverage they had, and he hurts his chances of getting another good contract. They can keep him and get more for him in the offseason.

Everyone makes it public and have for years. That's the template I spoke of earlier. & your people knew that before he even said it. It's just vanity. Now you've driven the price down because you where you ate.

& you're right, Lin didn't demand a trade. Asik did. The protocol now is to grant that demand. You're trying to resurrect an old protocol where the team was within it's rights to deny the demand. That ended years ago and Media got that message and ins uted it each time a player made the demand. You guys went against that grain. It was foolish, dj.

He's not going anywhere this year. They'll probably wait until the off-season to trade him.

& he's sitting there stinking to high heaven in the meantime. Because you were too head strong and indecent to do right by him. Rest assured, the rank & file are taking note.

They aren't trying to deny the demand. Dwight realizes he won't play. You have to find someone willing to pay his salary this year + the 15 million next year. That was never going to be easy.

He's in the Anus of the country, the same city where the Lockets are based, which's how the whole could happen in the first place imho.

I think a person's ego is in proportion to his height, or the darkness of his skin or whatsoever, either way it explains why Rin doesn't about being a bench player but Asik does. The situation the Lockets are confronting now is a similar one like what the Mavs faced during the 10-11 season, when their former starting C (contract Haywood) was demoted to the bench because big daddy TC proved to be a much better fit for this team. made Haywood was pissed and started to play like an ass, and later became a cancer on our team that would eventually get amnestied in a year or so.

But the difference is, there were no teams willing to take that contract and his newly-signed ty contract, while Asik is still a decent asset that many teams who want to upgrade their paint would like to pay decent price (prospects + picks) for.
