    Obviously, Jefferson was considered better in Olympic play than LBM.

    LB didn't want to give LBM (no pun intended ) without him earning it. He, like most championship coaches were willing to play veterans over hyped players.

    Edit: Jefferson (6.8ppg) was better than LBM (5.4ppg) during the 2004 Olympics.
