He can score. He is getting more comfortable as he plays more. The spurs will need his 3 pt shooting in the playoffs.
Parker should rest these next couple of games.

Would not put it passed him growing a further 8 inches. He's doing most other things. If that happens mark down another 4 as we move on from DRob and Tim.![]()
who is hot chick?
No doubt he would have got time...had he not contracted a horrific foot infection during the series and couldn't play regardless.
Joseph certainly hasn't hurt the Spurs chances. He is playing well.
This pretty much sums it up. He provides for himself, not so much for his teammates. Where are those numbers against elite teams?
You're taking it too far. Scrubs don't score 30 plus too often in the NBA.
Stop being a scrub poster.
Fair suck of the sav, who was he out there with tonight who can knock down shots at a good clip?
It's been Patty's MO all season. He's a good SG but he's not great at running an offense. This isn't a diss, but if the offense is going to be this dependent on Patty, the Spurs are screwed.
Dude has gotten to start for 10 games or so, and besides that 18 points on garbage time, he has scored his 6 points a game in 30 minutes lol
Plus his defense is overrated!
Got torched by Alan Anderson, Rivers, Butler, JEREMY LIN, Reggie Jackson, Shved, Collison
Still better than a De Colo airball and Oseph 24 second violation offense.
Spurs won't run an offense through him. Manu dishing out to Belli/Oseph or Belli/Mills? Give me option 2
Yes, with Manu at the point. If Green can actually stick a three, I would rather see him than Beli 10 times out of 10 times.
What some of you guys fail to understand is, is Patty is only getting paid minimum salary. You're not going to get a player that can score 10 + points a game and also average 8 + assists a game, otherwise he'd be out of the Spurs' price range. He's a scoring PG, and so far, when given minutes he has shown that he can score.
All of you guys that are complaining about his PG play, what are you looking for? I take it you're looking for a guy that can dish the ball but average about 5 points a game? Because that is what you're likely to get for minimum salary. It's most likely going to be one or the other. You're not going to get a scorer that can dish the ball and light it up at the same time for that amount of money. Who knows, Patrick could still improve his ball handling and passing ability if given more court time to gain experience out there.

Over the lat 11 games he's averaged 14.5 points on .508 FG% and .476 3P% (knocking down 2.7 threes a night).
5 games to robdiaz = A statistically significant sample with which to judge an entire player's career.
Except, you know, the fact that Patty was 24 last year. Hardly old enough to be so harsh on a player. Dude has game, that's plain to see. If he's so bad why aren't the other players on the Spurs going for 32 when our starters go down?
You're just pissed because you're feeling a massive quan y of cognitive dissonance after calling Mills out for being a horrible player and now you have to stick to that story or admit you're wrong, which you won't do unless you have no other option.
How many Spurs in recent memory aside from the big 3 have scored 30+ in ANY game? But yeah, it's against a bad team so it means the W that gives us a full game closer to OKC after their loss last night matters less. lol
Dude, the guy is garbage against good teams. Lets see what he does against the Clippers and Portland.
Speedy Claxton was a decent back up. He had a couple of good playoff games that way over inflated his worth.
Patty's a solid backup SG...End of story. He still has a lot of room for improvement. He's young so he has time. I wouldn't exactly count on him to win playoff games past the 1st round though.
Agree, for the most part.
