8th-9th seed with no hope for improvement due to The Contract
Kirby would also run Hibbert offPERIOD![]()
Supposing Kirby wasn't faking an injury (since he would have a fairly solid team)...
I'm sure they would make the playoffs, considering the East is absolutely awful, tbh... but that perimeter defense would be hilarious![]()

PG is the actual PG of this team imho, so... just because PG-led teams won't go far in the playoffs it doesn't mean you could go far without a PG either tbh. Pacers would be fine if they replaced PG with Kobe Johnson, but not Kobe Bryant imho.
Stillbsessed with someone who only played 6 games this year. -10 more points son.
Prime Kobe? They would definitely win a le
does it say prime Kobe?
Kobe always needed a superstar big playing alongside him to win championships. Hibbert is a defensive monster but his offensive game is mediocre so I wouldn't fancy their chances to win anything with Kobe in place of PG tbh, unless they could convert Granger into an all-round superstar big like the prime MVPau or something similar.
No that's why I was qualifying it. Your question is very vague. If it's NOW Kobe then they could forget any chances because he'd be injured.
there's nothing vague about the question. And the first post clearly reads:
Supposing Kirby wasn't faking an injury (since he would have a fairly solid team)...
even prime Kirby wouldn't get it done, he'd ruin that Pacer team like butt ing altered him forever. Only Phil was able to prevent him from not chucking them out of more series. Respect to Phil.
What if Phil and Fish would be there with him, tbh?
1972: Wilt and Logo
1987: Kareem and Magic
2001: Shaq and Kobe
2010: Pau and Kobe
The superstar big man and guard combination has been historically preferred by LA and results don't lie as it has resulted into many championships and finals appearances. The Lakers will always gravitate to forming a championship starting with this combo. Kobe has had the fortune of playing alongside two big men in his career as a Laker because he's been fortunate enough (not without a close call) to have been with the organization for 18 years.
If you replaced Duncan with Shaq on the below travesty...
...is it 5-5?![]()
I asked first, what's your answer?![]()
My bad. I just read the thread le, and headed straight to the quick reply box.
Shaquille would have dunked it over Battier. Duncan's finesse style came back to haunt him in the worst way. LOL
I plead the 5thPERID son
Yup, he is also the only coach who was able to control Jordan and squeeze 6 championships from him.
Props to Phil, he truly is the Zen Master.
don't be a chicken , we already have such a Lakerfan![]()
Yes, I think with Phil, Fish and the Pacers as currently constructed, minus PG of course, they would be able to win a le. Hibbert is no Shaq or MVPau, but I think Phil could make it work enough for one le imo.
Not gonna argue, tbh... Phil is that ...
what's your take on the topic of this thread, tbh... or you just gonna parrot and chicken ?
I'm still in the afterglow of Arn citing Duncan's finesse as your downfall last June. Came back to bite you in the ass at the worst possible time.
