And Ricky Jackson was way better than what Keuchly is right now. Jackson did it all. Rushed the passer, defended the run, and defended the pass. Way better player than what Keuchly will ever be. Jackson made Pat Swilling into a All-Pro player.

The defense did carry them all season. Look at the stats.5 game-winning drives = defense carrying
Carolina had the number two scoring defense while the Panthers had the number 15 scoring offense. The defense was the main reason for their success. They weren't perfect and Cam did won some games, but the defense was the biggest reason for their success. They didn't need much from the offense because they were so dominant for most of the season until about the last month.

And Jordan is dominant on the d-line. He's a monster pass rusher and defends the run this season. He was probably the Saints MVP overall.
