There's only one TOSB in that graphic, and I'm pretty sure it isn't TD putting up 23/12 this month on 33 min/per.
I invented the TOSB,,,it's my concession, Splits. I'll dole it out as I see fit. You were rid of it last June, with Kobe in full possession and you ed up. Now, this Summer it is not even up for grabs. Regardless of what happens...Duncan will own it after this June.
this nobody trying to take on the Cubster
Injured his game tonight in a 92-86 loss to dem Bulls.
The tank, the tank, the tank is on fire, we don't need Steve Nash, let the MFer retire. Retire MFer, retire!![]()
Nobody is leaving $9 mil on the table. He might not play next year, but he's taking his grip no matter what.
still raping some spurs fans ass ?
Damn right, Y. They took up with the wrong mother er. I'll them up!!!
Maybe he'll set a precedent, eh, Splits?
And maybe you'll be able to eat solid foods again.
Nahgunnahappin
Damn, reminds me of the 6:35 mark of the last Mono show
You are restless![]()
Derek Fisher also "retired" nearly a decade ago yet he's still playing up to this day... I think Nash possibly "retires" but will find out a way to sign back with LA for vet min (just like Fisher did), so the lakers will free up an extra 9m cap space for FA signings come the 14' summer.
He has to negotiate a buyout if he retires without a medical discharge. It's not clear-cut what happens, as each case is unique, but it's rare that the player gives up all the money.
Here's an article written about it from Jason Kidd's retirement.

Sux his career ended the way it did, but I guess thats what you get when you sell your soul to don a purple and gold jersey
Though it worked out well for Artest.
tee, hee.
Dude I love your ass-clapping signature. BRAVO!
I was never really that enamored with Nash. He was an overrated PG just like Jason Kidd. Though I would take Nash over Kidd. Of the PG's from my childhood, those 2 included, I'm taking Gary Payton any day of the week. No one can convince me otherwise. I'm really not that sad to see Nash go. Good riddance.
This is good news. If he has to retire for medical conditions, we still pay him the 9 mill, but it wont count against our team salary right?
thats correct, but him retiring because he thinks his body is sore doesn't equate to a "medical retirement." medical retirement has to be confirmed by league approved doctors (not working for the team) to make sure there is no funny business and to verify that he is retiring because it is mandatory
Money doesn't come off the books if he plays in 10 or more games this year. He's played in 9 (3 more than Cobie incidentally). So if he plays in 1 more game, all this medical retirement nonsense can stop, though it is hilarious to listen to Lakerfan "dream big" like this.
If so then no salary cap hit and insurance pays the $9 million.
Composing a new song for your mariachi band, Jose?![]()
