OT but has the Aral Sea completely disappeared yet?
It was in dire straits--but they've aggressively restructured the Aral Sea and I think its back to like 65% of what it once was. I think it has lost a great deal of the Southern Aral part as the north has been more salvageable than the rest. Who knows if it'll be saved completely.

Yeah--could be propaganda to elicit sympathy bucks in a way to de-fraud the region and what not. It's crazy and it is happening to the Salton Sea out here, too.
