Always respected the out of Dirk. Wouldn't mind seeing him get another ring as long as it isn't at the expense of the Spurs.

That's because he's an underachiever, par for the French tbh

He's capable of much more, he just chooses not to do it. Same with a lot of high talent in the league, their ceiling is their approach to the game, not their abilities.

Dirk's stock rose ten fold in 2011 tbh. That's what winning does to your cred.

Dirk is a beast, but he's going to have to leave Dallas if he wants to ring again, because Cuban and Donnie have reverted back to their pre-2011 habits of surrounding him with bad contracts and flawed teams, tbh....
Not as if they did anything special in 2011, it's just that a certain center (I forgot his name) that we probably should've re-signed in hindsight, happened to have a career year/be the missing piece when most people thought he would be a mid-season trade chip. Not to mention JJ Barea turned out to be a functional NBA player. That was a cool little plus as well

We just felt that we had a point to prove and we did it. The Pacers almost swept the entire west including Spurs, OKC and even the Guest team, yet tonight we defeated them... Proud of them boys in blue

pretty much agree on this one tbh. The fact that most French people are underachievers doesn't mean they can't do better, but that they don't want to. The could've done a better job fighting the Wehrmacht during the battle of France but they'd rather flee away and surrender, so the lives of Americans, instead of theirs, would be lost during the invasion or Normandy and following battles.

And Marion is still a solid defender even at age 35. He's like our version of Bruce Bowen except that he doesn't break other players' ankles on purpose.
