Welcome to the rest of the world you dumb .
It hasn't mattered since the early 90s. YOU'RE just now noticing it because a Laker is not participating and talking about it to try to sound cool.
Lakerfan cared a a bunch when they won that "lebron blocked Kobe" championship.

sure the real all-stars will have a lot to do tonight to rescue this (not likely to succeed though)
Why have you changed avatar from Kobe who is god to the Great Satan, tbh? It is not a computer issue, I think, just revert back to the God avatar or pick a Goddess avatar and the loading of pages will be smooth like the supple gay ass of Ellen Page tbh.
^^ Everyone makes too much damn money to every care anymore. Back in the day it was about pride and the compe ive spirit.
And on the rare occasion they do try hard, its only while they're succeeding, like draining threes, or scoring. They start scowling and chest bumping and hand clapping. Once it goes south, or someone d's them up, they start giggling with this, "I ain't even really give anyway. Why you trying so hard?" at ude.....a lot like Lakerfan on this board.
They need to just dump all this new crap and go back to the old format. the Skills Challenge and the Shooting Stars and the East vs West and the Money Ball Racks and the Dunk Battles.
Go back to the original format, start bringing in stars again, and would become watchable.
Unfortunately though, all the suits in charge of making these decisions would rather go for more ad dollars rather than protecting the integrity of the event. They keep incorporating more of these new rules every year, and that trend is only going to continue. , the analysts on TNT were talking up the new format at the end, acting like it wasn't a pile of steaming crap.
They should bring back the legends game. Would be fun to watch the 90s guys show what they can do. It would draw more than the actual AS game, and would be more compe ive.
The young players would love it and all be court side. Would also show them how to compete, and not try to just look cool all the time.
watched it for 10 minutes tbh, silver has some work to do.
Actually difficult to call this the worst because All Star weekend has sucked donkey balls for over a decade. The last one that didn't completely suck that I can remember was the Vince Carter dunk one and only because of that. That was like 14 years ago.
Maybe they'll e things up next year and add The Danceoff! so we can see the German MC Hammer in action:

Who would win a Tape-Off, Edgardo - Amaechi, Collins, or Kirby?![]()
Amy will win...both child and Cuck support payments.![]()
They could have the crack pipe smoking compe ion where Stevie wins hands down.
Of course it was going to be the worst all-star weekend ever since God isn't participating in it. Its no coincidence that with God's absence the all-star weekend has gone down the toilet.
I gotta give him props. He's a star player actually giving a in every event. Even scrubs like Reggie Jackson were coasting (see: Tony Parker last year) in the skills challenge.
Reggie Jackson should have been punched in the for his performance in the skills challenge. The same goes for Joe Johnson in the 3 point contest. If you ain't gonna try to compete, why the are you even in the compe ion? And don't say "players get bonuses for that in their contracts". I don't give a . If you are an NBA player, you are a product of sports entertainment. Yes, it's sad but true. The NBA is sports entertainment. The game basically completed the weekend suckfest. Maybe the NBA should over the losing conference team in the all star game by giving the winning conference team HCA in the NBA Finals.
We wouldn't have 6 though if that was applied last year
and the game would be even tier imho because the majority of all-star players know their teams wouldn't have no chance to make the NBA finals (like the East this year) so they'd intentionally flunk the game only to LOL @ the teams who're expected to make the finals (Heat and Pacers). So you'll only see 3-4 players from each side going all out, playing the game 100% devotedly, with the rest players coasting like asses (if not bungling the game intentionally)
All star weekend is the most boring time of the regular season... The only entertaining value comes out of the TNT crew.
, Joe Johnson has been mailing it in for big expectation money for a long ass time. Reggie Jackson was a low minute bench player until Frogger went down last year.
The all-star game feels like an artifact from another era; a time when the league was a lot smaller, there were a lot less games played, and the players weren't hyped 24/7 on 24 hours sports networks.
In other words, who needs it? The players are promoted/exposed enough already.
