It is what Parker said about his health yesterday during his radio show:
"I'm fine. I've still have all my little inflammations, it won't go away like that. I've still slight tendinitis at the groin and at the achille's tendon. But, I'm' fine. It's true that the rest helped me. It was a good idea that Pop give me this week of rest and I hope to be in good shape against Clippers to have a good game."

While he isn't at 100%, Parker doesn't sound that tired or injured. I guess Pop saw the opportunity to rest him for the last 3 games of the RRT which will give Parker 16 days without having to play a game (ASG doesn't count).
seems to be the most reasonable / realistic scenario

You're pretty much guaranteed to have to go through OKC to get a le now--and unless the stars align for the Spurs and all their opponents are injured while they have uncanny health in the playoffs AGAIN then it's just not happening. Sorry. It was a nice run.

Which part? Sure, all teams need to be healthy but the good ones don't need their opponents stars to get injured too.

Spurs office finally realizing Spurs can go only as far as MVParker takes em

I see 2 weeks of rest and Parker will slowly come back and hopefully come back to the levels he achieved last year. otherwise Spurs are doomed an early exit.

Spurs wouldn't even have finished #2 in the West had he not been injured you stupid [email protected] have no recollection of 2000.

What's his excuse for failing the other 3 times?

The aches and pains of playing, plus intense practices. Good that he's resting to recover.

He needed a couple of weeks off before the Allstar game. I was hoping everyone would be ready by the 2nd half of the season. Oh well...

because that logic goes out the window when you have the greatest collapse in sports championship history.

that is because it indeed was a collapse, since the spurs were no reachers..
