ESPN has learned Cavs are in talks w/Sacramento on deal to swap Jarrett Jack for Jason Thompson. BUT Cavs looking for third team to route JT
Sometimes two teams will work 2 concurrent trades. It could be one player for Blake, and another into an LA trade exception.

Jason Thompson's contract is a little long imo, but still would be an immediate upgrade over Ayers.
Yes, please.
Blake for Bazemore using a GS TE. That gives LA a TE to use on Brooks.
Would love to get JT but not going to happen.
If Cleveland is just looking to dump Jack's awful contract, Bonner back to them works.![]()
if we don't make a trade would the next step be looking at players getting waived? what are some of those possible options?
Cavs dumping Jack already...
Spursfan that wanted him here...
Thompson would make a great fourth big. His contract isn't a big deal, since Duncan is making way less than he should. But the Spurs need a combo-forward. Hopefully, they'd get one in the deal.
Exactly, they can all play 32 minutes on average. If you can get closer to 35, can have minimal time where you don't have Kawhi plus those three manning all the front court minutes (Diaw can play some at the 3 against certain lineups).
Might as well try to get CJ Miles from Cleveland as well tbh.
I'm with Bruno: it's really odd to not hear anything Spurs related at all from any sort of credible source. What makes it even more strange is that there was some noise with regards to the Spurs "being active" well before the deadline.
Don't get greedy. If you can flip Bonner for J Thompson, you do a Billy Bean and hang up the phone. You've heard the answer you want.
For the remainder of the season, anyway. They have to renounce him to get cap room, so his ticket is punched in July. He'll be wearing a different uniform next year.
Terrible trade.
Good trade.

Gonna play as well :
Cavs : Stiffler + Spurs' 2014 first
Kings : Jack
Spurs : Thompson + Bennett
Simpler, but against the CBA. Acy has to be traded by hiumself. I don't see a way to break it out into a separate trade with those components. Shame too. I really like Acy.
EDIT: Baam informed me Acy's restricted period has ended. Your trade is good to go. I like it a lot.

Are you sure. I'm confused by that rule. I think as long as you don't aggregate Acy's salary in order to take back more in a trade he can be traded in a single trade with another player.
