Apparently Charlotte's moved on to Gary Neal as their next target![]()
He's OUT indefinitely.. He was diagnosed in September with a herniated disc in his neck and hasn't played one game this year.

Yeah, because they couldn't get Turner. But apparently they didn't even offer a pick for him. What did they expect Philly to take?
If Turner can be had for such a low offer, it presents the Spurs with a conundrum. Polarizing player... has talent to do many things, but lacks flourish or discipline. Can certainly be a bench add-on but could also turn out to be a numskull. Maybe the Spurs can flip him in a three-team trade for someone more useful?
Three team trades are difficult and almost never happen. Besides, the Spurs hardly make trades, let alone three team ones.
But if they can flip Turner for Marvin Williams and get a second rounder to go to the Sixers, wouldn't it work? - http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=lxduu86
i don't understand the aversion to Evan Turner
Neal? They can have him and maybe MJ can pull him aside after one of his chucktastic games and slap him while telling him he is no MJ.
Some of us are conditioned not to like athletic players thanks to POP.
I've read earlier that he could return by then end of the season. Apparently not, that's too bad.
I don't hate him. He's just not a fit. I'd take him for free, but he solves exactly zero problems.
Turner has been a negative impact player every season in the NBA. A shot chucker as well. High volume score, and can't shoot the 3. A poor defender too.
t
I'd rather have thad young over turner, tbh.
not that i think Evan Turner is the savior, but he's a solid player and could thrive in a reduced role
No idea.
But The Sixers have made it apparent they're not going to re-sign Evans, and they're not going to get a good draft pick for him, because no team wants to give up their pick in this year's draft because it's being expected to be so deep. So, it only makes sense that they trade him for something, anything, rather than just let him walk. As the clock winds down, I think they'll end up moving him. If he could be had for a 2nd rounder and one of our lower tier players, I think'd it'd be dumb not to pull the trigger tbh. Rather do that than completely stand pat at this point. He's a FA after this season anyways so you're really not risking much.
The urgent need is to have someone who can play 15 minutes behind Kawhi and stay with LeBron and Durant (Forget even contain, let alone defend well). And of course, any upgrade in the front-court is welcome.
I meant the Magic. This draft is stong but not deep. With our 25-28 Pick the Magic wont draft a player anywhere near Harkless.
Sure, but they have a major logjam at the wing that will only get worse when Oladipo starts playing his natural position.
Last few hours before the deadline...
Would sell high on Mills but as a rental I don't believe he's worth that much... He's more or less in the same situation as Isaiah Thomas right now (who is more of a point) and Nate Robinson last year (more athletic, don't see Mills blocking Lebron in his lifetime)...
Something like Mills + De Colo for Copeland would be great for instance.
Mills is good for the price but he won't get to chuck 30 shots in the POs tbh and it's not even clear he's gonna be worth the money he's gonna get (see Robinson who was actually impressive in the POs)...

Crackpot idea just because I'm bored and because it rustles the jimmies of the idiots who take every trade proposal as a personal insult.
Kawhi + Splitter for MKG + Zeller + unprotected 2014 first (top 10 at the moment)

Hearing Bobcats continue to press for Bucks G Gary Neal and trying before deadline in 7+ hours to sell MILW on Ramon Sessions-for-Neal deal
Informative breakdown of the Blake - Brooks/Bazemore trade by Mark Deeks:

It explains why Brooks could be traded along with another player.
You could have just stopped right there and been spot on...
Only reason why I would except Turner on this team is because the guy can get his own shot. That's something we are going to need in the playoffs when the offense becomes stagnant. A 2nd line-up of Diaw + Turner + Manu + Marco +Patty is very interesting.
