I wouldn't care so much about standing pat if we didn't waste money on Jeff Errors in the offseason.
Why would a team give up picks for dead weight?

I guess with the Spurs being a few seconds within the championship, and making the WCF the year before that, they believe whatever they are doing is working. Last years Spurs team was special, and even the year before that was pretty special if they didn't have a mental collapse it seems after they lost game 3 vs the Thunder...I don't know if they can put a repeat performance this year as Thunder and possibly Miami if Oden works out have got better.
Neither does OKC,Miami, and many other teams..You dont have to have a stock pile of bigs to win in the NBA.

Sounds like Wolves and Cavs haven't been able to get together on deal for Jarrett Jack. Don't know if CLE has anything else in the works.

Knicks & Clippers, I'm told, have re-ignited serious discussions late this afternoon on deal headlined Shumpert/Collison. Talks as we speak
don't worry, they won't.
From what Knicks fans have said, Woodson's basically ruined Shump's confidence and marginalized him, tbh.... maybe a switch to a winning environment could get him going again....
Unfortunately, one of the worst chokes I've ever seen
Its womens hockey..who cares.
OKC, Miami and Indy are all much more top heavy with talent at this point than the Spurs tbh. They can compensate by relying on the Top 5 players they have on their team whereas the Spurs are done with any injuries to their frontline.
Shaqtin a Fool lost its star performer for the season -
I'm sure the Spurs tried. Truthfully, teams will hang up when you offer Bonner + Nando and whatever is at the end of our bench.
They weren't going to trade any of the core guys.

The Clippers have traded Antawn Jamison to the Atlanta Hawks, sources told ESPN
Do you really think okc can win it all without westbrook, or miami can win without dwade, or indy can without george or hibbert. Injuries to key players for any team means there championship is over.
@FakeCoachPop just now heading to the office
I thought he was dead
You're thinking of Juwan Howard.
I didn't mention injuries to top guys. I'm just saying those teams can survive injuries to their 3rd big and still be good enough to win it all while the Spurs don't have that luxury. No need to hijack the thread over it tbh.
He's dead where it matters.
