Patty's game is nearly dominated by movement - he has speed and endurance, but no height. Pop has graciously changed this game plan to a lot of high screens, which is good as the one-on-one players are hurt. Playing the static game they would lose and Mills would not be able to use his strengths. Re the shots - yes, but now he has confidence to use them. That's the thing about a bench player - the majority of the thought process is dominated by the background thought of 'don't stuff up'
Completely agree and tired of hearing it. Patty has a great work ethic and at ude and deserves his success and your respect.
After each win the haters keep raising the bar. What will it take to impress them? Next they'll be telling us Patty has to beat a team compromised of nba's legends all in their primes before they'll be impressed.
mid range floaters and and scoop shots, yeah, the teardrops are newish, what i was more talking about is being able to just play as agressive as he wants to be.
Particulurly with the Boomers. Patty can pretty much do what he wants, there is a lot of get the ball to Patty plays.

Mills pretty much is a God backup PG. Every year it seems like one or two backup PGs really step it up and go god mode. . .Jackson and Mills are those two this year imo. Mills' balls are bigger than the rest of his body lately.
He took a big step this season. He was always hesitant, and that took him out of the league or put him in smaller roles. Hope he keeps on pushing the envelope.

Yet he averages 1,7 assists per game (world bad record guiness ). Mills is just another good scorer (same as TP). But not a good guard.
