Wasn't handouts, numbnuts. While the ink was still wet on this current CBA, the Lakers still did the unthinkable: fleeced New Orleans and traded for CP3. We know it took your owner, Cavs, Mavs, and some other limp s out there to to Stern.

That's just an example of what I've been trying to say about MK - AKA Mitch Cupcake around these parts. He's a damn good GM. Not his fault the players he obtains goes down due to injury. But keep hoping the new CBA will stop the Lakers from rising again.
new CBA with its excessive taxes, with Fredo going from Billy Madison to .....Billy Madison. I'm sorry LkrFan.

Andre Miller stayed around for over a decade - I'm just saying.
Miller was always a 2nd tier PG... if that's what you want for your team, then okay...

Back on topic. My favorite moment mention in the OP is 0.4. I remember leaving class early to go home. I made it in time to see the 3rd quarter on. When Duncan made that lucky ass shot - I was pissed. Then when Fish hit The Shot! I was running around like a mad man laughing my ass off. Good times.

    - of course I want an upgrade, but his play is the reason why he gets more minutes than Farmar (who won rings btw) and they traded Steve bLaker.

He is an elite passer. If he qualified, he'd be 2nd only to CP3 in apg. People will like to play with this kid.

    Great times friend.

I remember watching the game with a Spurs fan\Laker hater. When Duncan made that shot, he got excited like Duncan around Enrique on Christmas morning.

I knew somehow we would win that game and series. Regardless of losing the le that year, 0.4 in itself deserves a banner in staples.

Sasha has a ring too... not sure that's much of a valid argument, Jose Phil Jackson was just that good.

You need a lot of upgrades right now.

Did the new CBA stop us from getting CP3 or what? Fact is, there will always be dumbass owners/GMs that make bad draft picks, or have players that outplay their contracts, or they know they won't be able to re-sign their star player, or they just need the cap relief. These are the facts. When it happens again - and believe me it will - the Lakers will be there to pounce. Just like with The Gift! Right now, the opportunity isn't there. But I'm patient...

Lebron is great, its like watching a prime Tiger Woods.
He is great, I never deny that and I do like watching him play the game. I never denied he was great. I liked watching Kobe in games too in his prime! I like the game of bball and love watching legends or legends in the making, no hate here for any player on my side. I loved watching Tim in his prime too as a Spurs fan, not too shabby . I love the golden era of BBall and still am a huge fan today, period.

    Jse?

Farmar was supposed to thrive in MDA's offense. He's more experienced and is a former champion. Frankly, I was expecting more out of him. But, KButter is outplaying him and stands to improve.

We have some cap space left to upgrade. I'm optimistic that we'll reload (somewhat) this year and make the playoffs next year.

Timmy shutting the Forum down with a sweep would be my favorite Spur memory, followed closely by the Spurs making Kirby and Fraud Fisher cry on the bench

You're tanking Raul. You need upgrades from ownership, to coaching to players... I don't know that cap space can solve all of that. The west is in pretty bad shape though. Don't need a lot of talent to make the playoffs.

    - Not buying your join date son. You are really a Spur Fan - as evidenced by all of the times you defended them classhles. Just like this:

Timmy shutting the Forum down with a sweep would be my favorite Spur memory, followed closely by the Spurs making Kirby and Fraud Fisher cry on the bench
You even affectionately called her Timmy. I haven't figured out whose troll you are, but you are definitely a Spur FanPERID. Oh, and -10 points son.

I'm watching it. My heart wants the Lakers to kick their asses. But the more we lose the better our chances to grab a nice player.
You might as well root for the wins considering your top scout is Fredo's bartender. I wouldn't expect too much from the draft from an organization that thinks 10 random guys at a bar could evaluate college players as well as professional scouts tbh.
