I'd would rather lose than listen to Ron's brother. Dude is a dummy.
Physically or mentally with his head?

MWP would do both. He takes one for the team.
I'm generally not a big fan of crazy, but I've wanted MWP on the Spurs for many years.
+1... And he really respects Pop and the Spurs.
Can we use are connection with Brett Brown to influence Granger to sign with the Spurs or Forcier relationship with World Peace. If Udrih is bought out do we approach him to replace Brown?
Isn't our head asst boylean? a former pacers asst? maybe has a relationship with granger
I'd personally prefer Artest over Granger but I'd be fine with either over re-signing Shannon F'n Brown tbh.
Any ideas on a timeline. This could be some welcome news.
Something like 3 business days after he's placed on waivers.
Looking up World Peace's game with the Lakers last season(since it's a larger sample size, and the Knicks are so poorly built/he hasn't received much of a chance):
- Surprisingly good pick&roll ball handler
- Scored on 51% of his post plays last season, one of the most productive post wings in the league last year
- Can't shoot consistently, only shot 34% on assisted 3s
- Above average on backdoor screens/cuts
Defensively:
- Above average iso defender against opposing SFs, can't defend guards anymore
- Great post defender against SFs and smaller PFs
- Surprisingly good at defending screens
- Horrible pick&roll defender
- Average rotational defender
Even this season, in a minuscule sample size, he's 11 for 19 in the post, and opponents are 2 for 9 in the post against him..if the Spurs want a small-ball PF, he seems like he would be a nice fit..

The thing I like about MWP is that you know he'll leave it all on the court in a Finals Game Seven. Between him and Cory, the Spurs would have a quality third defender.
problem with MWP, is how much athleticism does he have left? he rushed back from that knee injury
Athleticism is not the core of his value, it's gritty defense and all school toughness.
"If you're scared go to church" SJax (when everyone else was in fetal position in the WCF)
Boris has some Horry in him but not the part that hipchecked Nash, Metta on the other hand...
Ahhh, the altercation between MWP and Ibaka, that led to SJax tweeting that "he would go up on abaka's mouf, he doin' too much!"
Ya, talent >>> toughness IMO, but it would be nice for the Spurs to have a tough, intimidating player on the floor at times; tbh..
It doesn't have to be toughness as in cheap shots, etc, but toughness as in a player that will leave it on the court all game and won't be intimidated by the situation, refs or opposing players..
Is Miami interested in every goddamn decent free agent? FFS
Can you imagine a cir stance in which Artest would be on the floor at the end of a close game? Or are you just talking about things like stopping runs in the middle of the game?
Honestly, I think Jack would have been in during Games Six and Seven had he not talked his way off the team.
Jack in for who? Lol Leonard? In that case thank god Jack talked his way off the team. Jack was last year and still is a horrible basketball player.
Three fake thugs. No punches were thrown, no head in the nose... a bunch of outspoken fake thugs.
MWP isn't the same player he was last year though. after the meniscus removal he can barely move.
Neal played a total of 50 minutes in those games. Jack would have gotten a chunk of those. Too bad he was such a colossal, selfish idiot.
