Just to clear the stained air here.... no one who's ever been considered a "franchise player" like Granger was once will sign with San Antonio before the age of 36. They would take a minimum on a team like Miami before taking 4x that on a team like SA. Why? Because no American born faux star wants to play in San Antonio. There's no room for improvisational "see what I can do" play. Until Pop exits and the system changes, that will be the case. Even then who the wants to live in SA? I like the city, but if I was a rich athlete with options, that wouldn't be on the table.
