Metta is trash now, not sure why you guys want him
Neal, and maybe some of Diaw's. I'm not saying he would have stayed in. But I do think Pop would have trusted him to try to come through one last time. I think he'd do the same with MWP is the other wings were struggling.

Thanks!
Spurs don't have any hard, pipe-hittin' s on their team, so RonRon would fill that void
How much money do the Spurs have to sign anyone before going over the luxury tax?
The latter, tbh..
He shouldn't play more than 10 MPG, none of these buyout players should..
The Spurs are going to live and die by their 8-man rotation, but it would be need to have a situational SF in case of foul trouble, etc..
Parker/Duncan/Leonard/Manu/Green/Splitter/Diaw/Beli or Mills is good enough to win a le IMO(if Parker is back to form), but having an end of the bench situational defender/small-ball 4 would be nice for matchup purposes, particularly against Houston and OKC..
MWP is done.
Granger > Clark > MWP, IMO... even if Granger is mostly damaged goods.
Around $7 Million. The luxury tax isn't a concern. They can only sign players to the minimum (or the small amount left of their MLE) because they're over the salary cap, like most of the teams that will be vying for players that are bought out.
^
I shouldn't have even mentioned the MLE. I think there is only enough MLE left to sign a rookie, so it wouldn't apply to any of the players people are discussing here.
I would love to have MWP, we need a guy who will be crazy enough to fight fans in the stands if needed tbh
I wouldn't mind MWP either. I think he would be a good fit on the roster. He looks done but we would be hiring him as the 10th man at best.
He still brings toughness and is still a reliable defender.
MWP would be a one season rental; good for the minutes he would get.
Clark has probably hit his ceiling but isn't terrible.
Granger may have some upside for the future if (big if) his recovery progresses, but he's just as meh as the others now.
@ ramonashelburne: "Chicago and San Antonio among the teams registering interest in Antawn Jamison, sources said."
Jesus Christ
Sources=Jamison's agent
Interest=RC answered the call from his agent instead of letting it go to voice mail.
may become serious. He could defend LeBron, but I believe Clark or Granger would be better Durant and George defenders and the Heat won't make out of the East, TBH.
You can believe the Spurs will be dead quiet about this until the moment they go after him. We will likely hear the news and he will be signed almost immediately after that.
Metta's brother used to post regularly on lakersground. Will be looking forward to talkin him directly when his "PlayWorldPeace" account gets approved tbh.
OT, but as far as family members, nothing will ever beat Richie Incognito's racist dad on finheaven.com. Hopefully they archived his posts so the casual viewer can check out the goods![]()
agreed tbh. hoping for a Hard Knocks season on the entire Incognito family..
Ok, serious talk. Just get a guy with highest nba 2k14 ratings. It`s simply.
Dan artest is a long time spurfan IIRC, so him posting "#spursnation" in reference to MWP is probably just wishful thinking on his part. That said, I wouldn't say no to adding MWP to the roster.
Spurs front office ing over Antawn tbh..
