I agree. They aren't even NFL players yet. Unless they are injured they should do everything or completely decline the invitation.

AC Leonard is built like a truck and was the fastest TE in the combine. If he had done more reps, he'd be a really nice H-back prospect.
i'm not really sure what H-back means in today's NFL. is there an active example?

What Hernandez played. James Casey plays it as well. Delaine Walker played it in SanFran (dunno about Tenn.).

reece usually lines up as a fullback/lead blocker and gets carries if injuries demand it, though yeah he does shift into the slot. Hernandez was primarily just a slot receiver iirc

So the way I understand it, an H-back is essentially a receiving TE that lines up in the backfield like a full back. They block and all that, but they also motion out to TE and the slot. Supposedly, H-backs are replacing traditional full backs. The Ravens just drafted one in the fourth last year. It wouldn't surprise me to see Leonard be a mid-round pick.

It really feels weird to see all those comparison with Hernandez tbh, the guy was absolutely unique, he was able to be a wide reciever just as well as he could be a running back. He could do pretty much anything on the field.. Of course he never was the tank that gronkowski is, but to me saying vernon davis and hernandez are the same type of TE is weird.

No one mentioned Davis. I mentioned Delanie Walker, the former SF TE. And I didn't say they were the same--I said they were both H-backs. And that's reasonable. Hernandez was a receiving H-back, while Walker is a blocking H-back. Same position, different foci.

    QB 40 times:

    Blake Bortles, UCF: 4.81, 4.88
    Tajh Boyd, Clemson: 4.75, 4.84
Derek Carr, Fresno State: 4.68, 4.65
David Fales, San Jose State: 4.94, 5.03
Jimmy Garoppolo, Eastern Illinois: 4.93, 4.95
Jordan Lynch, Northern Illinois: 4.72, 4.72
    Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M: 4.63, 4.56
    Jeff Matthews, Cornell: 5.22, 5.22
    AJ McCarron, Alabama: 4.94, 4.91

Bridgewater did not run. Not sure why. If he doesn't have a legit reason it doesn't make much sense. It's not like teams will draft him for his speed anyway.

Reece is wildly underused on the Raiders offense. Much like McFadden and Heyward Bey, he enjoyed his best seasons under Hue Jackson

...and on the other end of that spectrum, Ra'shede Hageman did 32 reps. Could be a nice pick for a good team at the end of the first round.
