whatever. I think we pick up Jamison. The FO has some infatuation with guys pushing 40 being the players to put us over-the-top. I am getting strangely eerie feelings to the time that some asshole suggested Antonio McDoosh and the FO ran with it, the homers continued the "He's great on D," (a la Splitter justification) and we sucked balls.
I know options are limited and Im not under the impression that we are getting some all-star, and I would prefer Granger. BUT I feel that if it is only a few minute breather for Leonard, Jamison might be able to spell him and provide + stats or at least not make tons of errors.
Again, for 1 year, this might be our guy.

i don't think antonio mcdyess was a bad pickup at all. i think memphis was a poor matchup for him though

Spurs only have 2 choices. Sign an old/desperate player or sign nobody.
They are the only kind that look at san Antonio as a destination to sign with. The young ballers don't want to sign here.

Jamison is no better than McGrady or Maggette. Would not see the floor much at all.

I actually really liked Jamison's game years ago. Never played Defense but he was a good player. I wanted the Spurs to sign him a few years back when he re-upped with the Wizards and got overpaid. I can see why we passed, he was never worth that kind of cash. But he could have been a of a complimentary piece. Sure would be nice to get Granger...
