why he ing sucks, save the defense bull for the other homers

And even that is too much for him. Shouldn't be making more than the minimum seeing as he's D-League quality.

A couple of years ago when Splitter was out with a calf injury, he said something along the lines of "it's something dangerous" and that he couldn't play.
This guy is soft as tissue paper. I understand he makes a big difference defensively, but if the Spurs can get anyone in the same vicinity that can do what he does on defense, they should look at trading him. His softness is beyond a joke at this point.

Tony Parker has returned to San Antonio and will not finish out the road trip with the team (rest), per Spurs.

Additionally, Tiago Splitter will be out again tomorrow against the Celtics. So, no Parker, no Splitter in Boston.
No updates on Green and Mills means they should be good to go.
I wish Parker wasn't playing on the pointless all star team.
He already said that he will ask Brooks to only play a few minutes.
God dammit Splitter, Spurs could very well lose to Boston too. Glad Parker's done til after the ASB tho.
Great news about Parker, tbh..
Hopefully the Spurs can still finish with the 3rd seed and stay out of OKC's bracket, but having Parker healthy is more meaningful, this team isn't going anywhere if he can't dominate, obviously..
I'd still say that't too much, I'd feel much better with him resting at home..
Even if you miss the ASG because of injuries, you had to go at the event to do all the media stuffs.
10 minutes played at half speed isn't a big deal, and, even if ASG means nothing for a lot of people, it means something for Parker. I really don't think the benefit of avoiding to play these 10 minutes is significant enough to take the joy from Parker to be an all star.
What isn't a big deal is resting against the Celtics. That will do nothing for him over the long haul. The Spurs will just have to cope with Parker playig at half speed the rest of the season. Other players are going to have to get healthy, stay healthy and pick up the slack.
well then you don't know the benefits of rest on the body. When a body is at rest it goes into recovery mode. Obviously Parker practicing, running and playing in the Allstar will prevent at least 2 days of this valuable recovery mode.
Tiago must have a really bad yeast infection or it turned into BV.
Holy crap that's what happens when we rest?! Who knew?
Parker doesn't even want to play in the All-Star game. If he's ing about the playing time and wants to play 2 minutes, then just give the spot to Dragič, do the media stuff and go rest. And why does a player that is injured need to come to the game? Say you have a fever and are ing all the time.
because players would fake the injuries
Yea, play 5 minutes.
True, but I would've loved to have seen him snubbed, if only because it would light a fire under his ass!

Spurs were supposed to practice today in L.A., in part to assess health of injured guys, but that session was canceled. Plane malfunction.
Jeff McDonald @JMcDonald_SAEN
As such, @Monroe_SA should know more about status of Ginobili, Splitter and maybe Kawhi Leonard after shootaround tomorrow morning.
Jeff McDonald @JMcDonald_SAEN
One small bit of news: Kawhi Leonard had been medically cleared to participate in today's practice session that never happened.
So happy to hear Leonard has been cleared to practice at least.
What is it with the Spurs, Los Angeles, and plane malfunctions?
I have no CLUE but I hate it.... That game turned the series there, if they win that game one IMO they probably take that series but they ran out of GAS (No Pun).
Dan McCarney @danmccarneysaen
Leonard participated in full practice today, still has periodic pain in hand, remains game-time decision for Wed. Parker still out indef.
Dan McCarney @danmccarneysaen
Pop on Parker: "It's hard to measure. There's no specific injuries, just a lot of little things. He just needs time off."
My guess is that Tony gets two more weeks off and returns on March 12th against Portland. The Spurs will be favored to win in six of the seven games before then even without Tony, with the March 6th game v. Miami as the exception.
