Agreed. I think that's probably the reason for all this hubbub about him choosing his destination; he's in the spotlight once again.
Unless you see something with a direct quote from Granger, or a tweet from Woj, it's best to regard all these "reports" as pure speculation.

Spurs: Glenn Robinson
Pistons: Elden Campbell (borderline rotation/garbage)
Heat: Alonzo Mourning (high quality 17m/g)
I wouldn't blame Granger if he chose the Clippers tbh. He'd probably end up starting for them by the end of the season or at least share heavy SF minutes with Barnes (Dudley has been Ayres-like all season). He's still relatively young and is playing for one more decent payday and a larger role on the Clipps helps him achieve that, at least more than signing with the Heat or Spurs would. Probably why other teams that offer similar situations (CHI/DAL) are mentioned amongst his possible destinations.
It's odd to not hear one peep about Clark. No mention of him clearing waivers, no mention of teams interested or teams that he is interested in. Odd.

Pistons: Lindsey Hunter
That's 10 years. That's enough.
Yeah, was about to post the same thing.
What DPG said. No reports on Clark is odd. Maybe teams are waiting on what happens with Granger.
I've already said Clark is my #1 choice.
Unfortunately I agree with you. He appears to be someone who needs minutes to be effective, and he'd be a huge upgrade over Barnes so he'd likely see a lot of floor time. Who knows how he'd be used here, although he'd certainly be an asset as a shooter, no doubt about that. When he has his legs he's a decent defender as well.

#Knicks make it official, announce they have waived F Metta World Peace and G Beno Udrih.
How so? We have two open roster spots even after the Davis signing....
I agree with Mugen
I don't think there's a better place for Granger than LAC. They have a great team and he might even start over there. Dudley has been a massive disappointment and Matt Barnes, while decent, is not in the same class of Granger.
I also think clips have a great shot at granger if he's bought
All this talk about Granger is moot until he gets bought out, which is far from a sure thing at this point.
Looks like the stars are aligning for MWP, barring anything happening with Clark.
Could be worse, at least he's a big strong defender who won't back down from anyone...
If he wants to win a le, he would choose between the Spurs and Heat. MAYBE the Clippers. If he wants to play major minutes to prove he can play at a high level withour caring about a le, he will choose between Chicago and Dallas.
Barely? I thought he was waived over the weekend...
if it was a money thing, he wouldn't agree to a buyout. he's making more money on Philly than he would via a buyout
also, we need to hear if Granger is actually bought out before any of this speculation makes any sense
Buck Harvey @Buck_SA
From what I hear, @MettaWorldPeace can scratch the @spurs as an option.
Granger will go to south beach I believe. Most players that can revive there career and be an integral part to a championship team would rather take the easy route and coat tail to a ring. So I await the news of his buyout and his immediate commitment to the Heat. Would love to be wrong though
Depends on the terms. Often times, the amount they give back is equal to the pro-rated portion of the league minimum for the rest of the season. The financial reason to stay put would be the guaranteed minutes to showcase himself for the free agent market this summer and retaining his Bird Rights to use in an S&T.
