I'd forgotten that moment early on when the gay fellow is in the hospital bed and he's about to see his face for the first time since they smashed it to smithereens. The girl gives him her hand mirror as he prepares himself. At the foot of the bed Cuba Gooding, Jr., where he is seated. He rises in empathy with his friend. It is a "great" moment in that film and I'd forgotten it.
