He's always been a nut, but he also can do good things on the court. Let's not forget how big he was in game 7 of the lakers/celtics finals. Lakers probably lose if not for him.
Boris never got suspended for elbowing manu either tbh

True... But Stephen Jackson was suspended like 30 games for the brawl in detroit, and when we traded for him we saw how he came through in that series against OKC.

I think Metta has some fire left in him and could bring plenty to the Spurs. Bring him on...![]()
Shame.
Spurs don't want him apparently. I would totally take a chance on him.
@ menttal fans
Stephen Jackson experience says no.
i like how he was never even an option n dat he wanted to be a spur lol tbh

Is there a chance, assuming we were able to sign Granger, that we can sign him too? Financially-wise and releasing one of our roster spot. If he could play like the Tony Massenburg role, that would be nice.
Artest had PRP therapy on his knee this year, and has only been able to play 42 minutes in 13 games since. Consider him to be playing on one leg.
Oh. That's not a good news if we end up signing him. Maybe Ayers could lend his knee to Artest? But too bad Ayers knee is busted as well.
Isn't anyone going to bring up that smoke and mirrors cia pop crap that a lot of you seem to like to post about?
I was interested in getting him, definitely wanted him if he is healthy, but if the Spurs think he's done, then I am OK with it. I just hope the Spurs aren't dismissing him because of his personality and/or mental issues. I think he's a decent guy that really does care about his teammates and is willing to stick up for them.
