I am curious to know what you guys think of their new logo and new name. How much do you support the Stars and do you buy merchandise, like for a niece, sister or girlfriend.

I hadn't heard about the redesign. Here's the announcement for it. I think their new logo is an improvement. Looks cleaner. I like that they dropped "silver" from the name.
That said, I hate their jerseys. The HEB logo completely replaced their team logo. Looks bad.

The San Antonio H-E-B. Advertising on jerseys sucks in most cases.

If you pull out the remaining letters and recombine them you end up with a vulgarity... I'll let you all figure out what that is, but some here say it represents the very same "STARS" player pictured above...

I think it's an improvement. Becky Hammon is one of the best players to play in the WNBA. She represents and supports the San Antonio community very well.
Becky has been spending her offseason watching & learning from Pop.

The logo looks sleek, the uniforms look atrocious. Ads on jerseys look terrible.
She'll be a Spurs assistant coach in no time.
The logo is a bit too...wavy. But it is an improvement.
As for the ads on the jerseys, it's coming to the NBA eventually. There's just too much money to be made not to. Then again I could say the same about advertising on the court itself, along with NFL fields/jerseys, and the big white space on Google's home page.
You people hating the ads need to wrap your heads around it. The reason that the NBA is going to the sleeved jerseys is for more ad space. Silver has already said it's coming.

Hey man... I don't share in that opinion of Becky... I'm just saying some here have called her that...
I don't have any problem with advertising in general on jerseys (for instance on the sleeves), but I think replacing the primary logo or team name on the front of the jerseys with an ad is a step too far. Fortunately, I doubt the NBA will ever progress that far.
Hmm, he'd still be the worst player BY FAR.
I would say he'd be the last man off the bench.
Why don't they just make the whole jersey red with giant white HEB letters. WTF
