Thats true, didn't say I really cared one way or another. Granger looks pretty done this year IMO. We need another SF but is he the answer at backup? Not the way he is playing this year.

That being said I doubt he signs here so the ones in here getting their hopes up for it then so be it . I want the Spurs to get healthy and start getting on a roll for the real season.

Yeah he is pretty ty this year TBH.
I haven't watched the Pacers much this season. Have you watched many of their games?

Doc will make promises like that, Pop won't, it has to be earned here.
Doc might as well promise a 2nd round exit as well...

People always say players don't want to be in SA, but I also wonder how much of it is Pop or RC's at ude or ability to get certain guys to buy in. If Pop is doing the "my way or the highway, take it or leave it" approach, that could be part of the reason.

When Pop wants a particular player he goes out of his way to get him.
Has he done this with Granger?

I don't think he probably even has to say it. Frankly, if that's a turn off, they probably wouldn't do well here anyway.

I snuck into his house, but couldn't quite hear the whole conversation from inside his kitchen pantry.

Yeah I don't mind if Pop et al don't bend to divas, that's commendable. I just think that SA isn't so much the reason, it's probably the idea of embracing a role imo. Especially when so many teams are inept and let overpaid guys do what they want. though LA is obviously a bigger destination than SA so it could be that, plus Doc having a heart to heart with him.

Shaq recently confirmed that players around the league would love to play for Pop but that San Antonio isn't a city that draws their attention in terms of living the nightlife. Say what you want about Shaq but that dude is still in touch with the players in the league.

Eh, i bet we get the, "This is what the clip are offering, what can you give us"... All Pop has to do is wear his 4 rings to the interview and tap his fingers on the desk.

I saw a few, he was shooting around 8 ppg and shooting .355%, THAT sounds similar to Jax when he was about done. I would not expect much from him at this point.

Granger isn't serious about coming to the Spurs. Probably using us like everyone else. Philly never should have ing bought him out. Should've let him sit on the bench the rest of the season.

It would be a shame if Granger didn't go the Spurs. He would really fit into the organization's culture--he's extremely intelligent.

Granger scored a 30 on the ACT, which is roughly equivalent to 2000 on the SAT. His IQ is in the top 2% of the world population, putting his intelligence on the "Gifted" level. That means he's smart enough to join a high-IQ society like Mensa.

It would be good if Spurs are given the chance to make their push last.
