Remember it is a passing league, it won't matter who your QB is if nobody can catch the ball. You can stuff the run, nobody can cover a great wide receiver just ask Jerry Rice and Calvin Johnson.

Remember....just wait until Crabtree gets back.
It's nice, but you don't need a great wide receiver to win games. Just ask Tom Brady.

We all realize that but unless you can back off safties and keep backers honest things are a lot harder.

If I'm a GM, I don't draft wide receivers or running backs. At all.
I'd draft them, but not in the first or second round.... of course, I'm biased after how the Chargers snagged Keenan Allen in the third round

I'd be tempted, but stepping back and looking at it all, there's just no need.

I'd draft a quarterback, guys to protect the QB, and guys to rush the QB in early rounds, linebackers, TEs and d backs in late rounds.

RBs, WRs, kickers, punters I'd get all cheap from free agency

There are a ton of receivers in the HOF, so what's that tell us?

Let me ask you something Blake...

Why this need to never add anything to your arsenal, you seem to get all uptight if anyone tries to tell you anything. guy I'm all over Texas Tech but knowing how you fight it....hey.

Why not drop the crap and be cool?

Only 7 that started their careers after 1970. Guys like Cris Carter and Tim Brown are having trouble getting in.

How many WRs have won an MVP award compared to RBs.

You're wrong here about there being "a ton" of receivers in the Hall.

But you won't drop the crap and admit you're wrong, even with the evidence being clear as day. You're just a crusty old that wants acknowledgment of being an expert and you get incredibly upset when you don't get it.

You have no reason to be surprised that the vast majority of posters here would rather light a flaming bag of on your front door than to talk about "the good ol days" with you

It's why nobody likes discussing anything with you.
How about some reality just once in awhile. ok? I deal with facts, if you can;t handle facts... bummer. Do I really need that long list of HOF receivers. Guys you've never even heard of. Nobody is wrong little guy, which is your problem, you try too hard to prove everyone wrong, That;s why nobody likes you.

Let's talk about how a football fan wouldn't know Chris Carter is in the HOF, ok? And let's also talk about you being wrong.about a ton of receivers in the HOF....first.

Then I'll school you about todays game.

I was unaware that Carter was in. Hoist yourself a trophy for being right on that one and write a poem about it.

But no, there's not "a ton" of WRs in the HOF, especially since the merger in '70

Of course neither of these two things is relevant to the importance of the position in the year 2014.

    You're a re ed fat .
