Seems like a nice guy. I'm surprised there were not more people there in line. I told him "Thanks" and how most of San Antonio will never forget game 5 against Detroit. Brought a smile to his face. One of the few players I didn't have an autograph for on my championship ball. I miss Big Shot Bob!

I made him laugh so hard. I was wearing all my Spurs gear and told my kids he was Will Smith. He got a kick out of it and signed my ball. :P
Horry is the personification of clutch.. Dude knows how to win and make big shots when all the is on the line.. Could have used him last year

I am sure to this day he still loves the game 5 moments he had, that was the game of the ages for a role player in a HUGE game! He came up when it mattered most.
Can we sign him to a 10 day contract?
Everyone remembers his Game 5 in Detroit, but I loved his Game 3 (I think) in Denver in 05 when he blew the game open by hitting a three, stealing the inbound pass, calmly walking back to the line, and draining another three. Really shut Denver fan the up.

Good stuff! I worked with Robert's cousin while I was in the Navy, stationed in GA. I had him get my nbastore-created Horry Spurs jersey autographed for me. He told me he hates being referred to as Big Shot Bob, he prefers Big Shot Rob lol. One of the most clutch shooters of all time, in the biggest moments.
LOL! I don't like "Big Shot Bob" either. I was thinkiing of the Tim Duncan "Big Shot Bob/Big Shot Bobby" rant when I did the original post.
I wonder if that's on video somewhere. It's pretty funny.
