I have a lot of respect for Caron's ability to turn down selling his soul to the Great Satan. I guess he saw through the Great Satan and wanted no part of him.
Caron already got a ring as a Mav in 11 (albeit not playing), there's no reason for him to join the Great Satan in Miami imho.
He still resisted selling his soul unlike Ray Allen who sold his soul to the Great Satan despite having a ring.
