Yes with Duncan-Diaw combo. Gives a lot of passing. kinda confuse the other team.
Scary how confident and how often Pop has used this lineup in clutch situations this year..
Seems like Pop is back to his 2011 self ..Offence, offence, Offence.
Good luck winning anything with that.

Matchups & personnel... tonight we needed offense, and missing TP, we went with a more offensive lineup. Depending on who we need to guard and who is playing, Danny/Kawhi numbers will be called, TD will be sent to the bench, etc..
All things considered that lineup played solid D. Manu was a monster on both ends.
This. Charlotte is a very solid defensive team, but they're pretty bad offensively. I think Pop recognized this and decided to go with a more offensive lineup because he knew/hoped they'd be able to contain a mediocre Charlotte offense down the stretch. If we were playing a high-powered offense like Houston or LAC, I'd like to think he would've played Leonard/Green.
Typical grey with the tired old "defense wins championships offense never wins!" nonsense. Differential wins championships. It literally does not matter if you average 150 points per game and hold opposing teams to 100 points per game versus if you average 100 points per game and hold opposing teams to 50 points per game. By all accounts your probability of winning is more or less similar.
Unfortunately, our differential is mediocre this year whereas it was elite last year.
If charlotte had a player that only kawhi could guard he would have been out there
This happens even against good offensive teams..![]()
Why do you think we will play Mills in crunch time especially during the playoffs when Parker comes back?
Pop could use Parker-Manu-Beli to close games in playoffs more than advisable. Unbalanced lineup.
1. That lineup was used for exactly 1:59 in the 4th quarter
2. During that 2 minutes, the Cats shot 1-3 with 2 turnovers
3. The Spurs outscored the Cats 8-2 during those 2 minutes, which was the decisive run in the game
4. Saying that this lineup is overused is one thing. You'll have to provide more examples than a 2 minute stretch of one 4th quarter if you actually want to make a case.
By mediocre, you mean having the 5th best point differential in the league? In what world is that mediocre? Last year we were 4th in point differential. 4th is elite, but 5th is mediocre...?
Manu is showing great lateral agility. Typically he tweaks his hamstring and then cannot move worth a damn but he has come back and maintained this time round.
Yes. Deal with it.
It's called the bench as you can add Diaw to that lineup as well. He was playing them with Duncan vs CHA which he hadn't done a whole heck of a lot before. He ended up +19 for the game.
