Thought Manu would have saved the day in Enrique's absence.
I'm surprised Parker even still has fans:
-Third best player during the Spurs championship runs in '05, '07. Not nearly as important as Duncan or Ginobili.
- s a team mates wife and ruins locker room morale.
-Gave up on the team in 2011 and says Spurs aren't good enough to compete for a championship anymore.
-Shoots 6-23 in the most important game of his career.
-Drowns his sorrows in FIBA ball because he can't handle the fact that he choked hard in the Finals. As a result of this stupid decision, he came back playing some of his worst basketball in years and complains about the lack of rest(when he should have rested during the summer)
-Healthy enough to play in a meaningless all-star game but chooses to rest during official matches.
Thought Manu would have saved the day in Enrique's absence.
x 1000 at this stupid ing thread.
LOL to be fair Manu just got back from an injury
but let's face reality, Manu is not saving this season. He will (hopefully) be healthy enough to be a rotation player and contribute with his smarts and sneaky D. His shot is gone for good.
Those days are long gone. We need everyone playing well when we're shorthanded, which didn't happen tonight.
Manu did ok in his 13 minutes though. Mike Monroe said before the game his minutes would be limited. I'm still trying to find out why.
today is not the day to say it since ALL SPURS shot like . but dude, Manu's shot is gone for good.
Agree it was a terrible shooting night overall. Under 10% from downtown.
I was just talking with Rob about Manu's long range in the game thread. His form was ed before the last injury, but it isn't bad now. He's missing though, so that doesn't help. He's been driving more though, which is good.
these things are ignored greatly. people are always talking about who's a cancer to the team and in the locker room. doesn't get worst than fuking your teammate's wife. surely that HAS to be worse than asking for playing time..
This team NEEDS Parker. Nothing else to say.
correction, we NEED parker to play within the team and start playing some better defense(which he never has)
Close this re ed thread Bruno
Damn we won despite Tony
Thanks Patty.
Spurs were almost undone by tunnel vision.
He did well. Im proud of Patty Mills.
Mills shot 5-12 so it wasn't like he had a wonderful shooting night but he did hit timely shots, same with Marco..
Surely you jest?
no sherlock
Patty is great to have for certain matchups, Portland being one of them. He's not TP though.
