Some of the turnovers go beyond lack of chemistry. For example, Tiago and Diaw's turnovers both on the perimeter and that stupid inbounds pass.

Regular season. You do realize that even the 72 win Bulls had sloppy games, right? Again. It's a process. Some nights the team is going to have fumbly hands. It's the nature of the sport. You guys freak out about the weirdest . If it was that bad would we be sitting on pace for 55-60 wins?

We're upgraded last year in athleticism and speed. We have Mills playing consistently, Kawhi a year older and better (despite what others will say, his numbers bear this out), and Marco. Diaw is also playing much better.

If most teams had been hit with the injuries we have, they'd be fighting for playoff position at the bottom of the West, not a game and a half out of first in one of the most stacked conferences in HISTORY.

We've upgraded in personnel but I wouldn't say Marco improved us athletically nor that we are athletically on par with the elites of the league. I'm not giving up of course, but it's a legit concern.

I'm not freaking out about anything. I'm just pointing out the obvious. There have been really bad turnovers that go beyond lack of chemistry or rust. You can attribute it to coasting but it's still a cause for concern.

You said aggressiveness as well. Marco is far more aggressive than ANYONE we had on the bench last year. Dude will spot up or drive to the tin every chance he gets.

Athleticism is a legitimate concern but it's been that way since like, 2005, rofl. I remember people ing because we had Nazr at the 5 and it was making our team too slow to compete. :P This team will never be the Nuggets or the Thunder. We are precise, not overpowering, unless Kawhi decides it's time to go off for 35 like we know he's capable of.

Sure but one can't help but think we're missing something in terms of athleticism, speed and aggressiveness. I'm sure the latter will pick up on time for the playoffs but the other two worrying areas just couldn't be addressed.

2013 offseason is among the worst for the Spurs in the Duncan era. Adding Belli was a lateral move after losing Neal. Brought in one of the worst bigs in the NBA in Ayres. They needed a backup SF and a backup big and failed to add either.
