Not while players like Mullens are around.

Not while players like Mullens are around.
Let us hope.
Short answer: yes
Long answer: ing yes
Shocking, no one has mentioned Perkins having his worst season in years.
20 MPG
P.E.R of 6.1
Net rating - -17
Turnover %-30%
Usage Rating-11.8%
Okc would kill to swap Perkins out for Ayers.
Arizona State University should be ashamed to have given this hole a scholarship. It boggles the mind that he was taken 31st overall in the 2nd round.
I forgot all about that bum! He was drafted high too.
If you would kill to ship a guy out for Ayres you know that player is absolutely HORRIBLE, beyond BELIEF BAD.
Just another guy that wows coaches in practice with a great vertical and speed for his size but has zero actual basketball skill. This mother er can't catch a ball. Which would be fine if he wasn't such a weak defending the post. Considering the contract we gave him......yeah, this dude is probably the worst.
My brain can't process how it is possible to be a professional in a league where you pass a ball around but yet you can't catch a ball.
I still don't understand how the Spurs could be stupid enough to keep this guy under contract. The ol' sport is pound for pound the worst basketball player I've seen
He stunk it up last night. Splitter had a very forgetful game too.
What a ing waste of a roster spot. We needed someone who could defend and rebound in the playoffs and instead we got a guy who wouldn't even start in an intramurals league.
He's a decent defender and rebounder but that is it. He sets good screens but is lost after, rolling to the basket every time no matter how packed the lane is. And obviously he can't catch a ing cold to save his life.
He used to have a little mid range shot til Pop tore his heart out, lol. Honestly, he could learn a lot from Oberto who would roll right to any open spot on the floor. I know Ayres doesn't have the IQ for it but if he could pick up the basic concept and believe in his shot again, he might actually produce.... something.
#1 overall pick. What a legend
Must be slim pickings this year.![]()
He did his best.
And continues to do so.
So how bout you?
I like him but he isn't great.
Jimmer went #2. Shows how worthless he is considering Ayres went first.
And the guy the Thunder thought was the future, Perry Jones, went third.
Somebody from this years draft will make the nba again. I'm sure there were reason other than the NBA as to why certain players are picked.
