^nevermind, the browns slapped a 10 million dollar tag on him... The raiders also chose not to exercise the franchise tag. Failing to resign Jared Veldheer would be a monumental blow to a franchise already struggling. He's a legit building block. I would also like Houston back but it sounds like he's going to get overpaid in the open market

We need a safety, an ILB or two, o line help and maybe a d lineman.

this franchise if we sign Byrd. It would be a classic skins move. Let's see what the new regime will do

Also orakpo is expensive but I think bringing him back at least for one more year is the right move on a team with so many in holes.

sounds like he's going to fight it and try to ramp it up to 12, and isn't planning on reporting to saints activities until his contract is resolved. doesn't look like a pretty long term relationship. then again, it seemed like Lance Briggs and the Bears hated each other and they eventually worked things out

He won't get the 12 million, but I could see him getting around 9 similar to Gronk who is better overall when healthy. He'll be fine long-term since he won't find many other opportunities to play for a elite passing attack.

Rotoworld wrote about a report saying the Bengals aren't likely to sign McFadden. I think on a 1 year deal or a cheap 2 year deal, he'd be a very good committee back with Bernard. I think for anything to materialize with him, he is going to have to accept he can't be trusted as a starting, feature back and will not be paid like one.

Given that Bernard couldn't hold on to his fingernails save for the fact that they're attached to his finger...and McFadden being injury prone it might be a risky move. I think, though, it would be one Lewis and Co. would make.

Even with franchising rak we will have about 28-29m in cap space once we trim the fat. Better not this up tbh

Will Danny take back his offseason champions le?

Hue Jackson has good history with McFadden. Was running the raiders Offense in the 2 best years of McFadden's career, when he actually looked like one of the best backs in the league

Could be right...also could be just the two years he wasn't banged up...Hue could work wonders.
