Nothing is proven, but confidence can definitely be built. The game's also a good opportunity to scout considering both teams are at full health.

Spurs need to get this game regardless of what rosters are used. At the least it splits the season series and at best starts to get them above the Heat with an overall record. It's a very real possibility that they could meet in the finals again and Spurs with homecourt is a much better position to be in. Yeah it's only March but every game counts at this point. It was that close last year.

There will be no restgate this season. Both teams are a game and a half back from the #1 seeds, and in the Spurs case, they need more than a tie to beat the Thunder.
