I'd rather be an easy target than an idiotic poster. So you just keep telling us how we aren't going to win, how Patty is a horrible player and won't ever perform against good teams.

Wait, is Tiago coming off the bench now?
Just on certain matchups. Diaw made more sense tonight since the Heat play small ball. The Heat are a bad matchup for Splitter unfortunately.

Very happy with tonight's game, Parker didn't have the goods after the 1st quarter but he still drew defenders which helped open the game up.. kawhi starting to take more shots in the flow of the game which is good just needs to knock them down.. Great defense, Patty with that change of pace and good ball movement all around, and quietly Tim just does work.

Now if Daye could actually do that in the Ayres role that would be so great.. truly spreading the floor.

One of the things I want to take away from this game is how Patty just keeps on the pressure by turning on the speed to go to loose balls and rebounds. Even if he doesn't get the ball he often makes the other guy screw up and turn it over. I think I saw that 3 times during the game. It doesn't show in the stats but is damn important in the outcome of a game.
Yep, which is why it annoys me when some posters here compare him to Neal, tbh..

Neal was known for lackadaisical effort on defense(along with his lack of lateral speed) and loose balls, outside of taking charges around the basket..Mills provides constant energy and pressure in every facet of the game..

In all seriousness, in the short minutes Daye has gotten, he has looked aggressive. Shown both willing to shoot and post up ability. He isn't just going through the motions.

That in itself should get him ahead of Ayres in rotation.

butler in okc is pretty much the same situation as belinelli with us, he's shooting 4/5 from three and .500 from the field, yet he has an absurd -17 in what is now a closely contested game.

Phoenix with 101 in 3 quarters against that elite defensive team in OKC.

Patty is an upgrade from Neal in every aspect, maybe slightly less of a great ranged shooter, but everything else is money.

I thought you were saying he played bad just because it was the Heat, so I said what's the excuse for the game vs Cavs. Thats the only reason I brought it up.

He's finally on a winner, lol.. makes everything that much better and shots fall easier.

    Good win Spurs.

Spurs better be thankful Diaw is a better point guard than Parker.

Or they'd lose many games, including this one.

Spurs are lucky as all get out to get a player of Diaw's value in buyout. Unreal.
Hate to break it to you, but it was not luck.

Come on man, I talk before the game even starts. Like I said, not my fault you guys keep falling for it.
I know Rob's game. We're both eternal pessimists. Defense mechanism tbh. Supers ion that if you are positive it'll jinx the team.

    Agreed. He's been aggressive.

I just wish he'd be given a chance like Ayers has been given repeatedly.

The Spurs are the only team in the west that could beat Miami in a 7 game series.
