say his name, tell them wankers who won the game

bet yah upstairs the church of enrique popping the champagne like he did anything worth mentioning this game...
KL to me deserves Co-MVP along with Duncan. Parker set the tone early and Mills was good too. But KL locked down the perimeter and Duncan anchored the paint.

I know it's just a regular season game and doesn't make up for June, but what a impressive win.

I'll be honest in back in the 80's those regular season wins meant SOMETHING. Of course it means more to the team that lost the previous le but Heat fan can dismiss this if they want ...but they Know Spurs had their asses dead-to-rights. Timmy secures that rebound if Pop doesn't have a brain cramp.
nothing's certain man. If I told you that Timmy just had to make a point blank bunny over Battier to send a Game 7 to overtime, you'd have told me he'd make it.

Yeah thats what I try to tell most of these spurfans that they overrate the Great Satan. Their team just choked harder than the Great Satan's choking. God had better games than Great Satan has ever had against the spurs. Spur fans don't want to admit i but God had a bunch of great games against them while Great Satan has only had a few.

    i will refute ur call

the only time kobe had good games against the spurs was when they had no perimeter defense specialist pre lakers 04/05 season, even against bowen, bowen held his own till he become TOSB out of the starting unit and retired...only post bowen kobe started having good games against spurs who was then still experimenting with undersized guards to defend kobe...

I have seen enough of Timmy to say if he does not get that board ... I bet he at least makes sure Bosh does not. what he lacks in lateral quickness he makes up for in clutch play for a non leaper also one of the best rebounders I have ever seen. If yo are the Spurs and you want one rebound who else do you want in the game. And even though Bosh is taller (looks it to me because of that neck) and has longer arms if that board is between him and Bosh who are YOU betting on?

I think pulling Duncan was the worst decision. Pop is such a great coach but even the great ones can micromanage too much, let their own insecurities get in the way. It was like the basketball gods reacted to the pulling because so many things went wrong from that moment forward, it's just hard to explain.

That being said, Pop seems different this year and the team's resolve has been nothing short of amazing. Most teams would have given up but I think the Spurs are confident enough that they know they can hang with anybody.

I've been back and forth on this topic, but I think I agree. Timmy would have at least tipped it out and gave time for our guys to get in postion to play D.

But if Timmy is in the game, all the Heat would have had to do was Pick n Pop with Timmy's man(most likely Bosh aka Spur killer aka Guy Who Hit a Game Winning 3 earlier in the season on us) and Timmy would have been too slow to recover and contest the shot.

That said, Ray Allen is the last person I wanted shooting that last shot so maybe it would have worked out.

Kawhi's defense in the 4th was amazing. I could tell early on that Lebron was in hero mode, which bodes well for the Spurs because James most often doesn't settle for long jump shots yet he did tonight, mostly. I think a lot of that was due to his nose injury, not wanting to mix it up in the paint, to risk getting popped in the face. The Heat didn't appear to be that interested until the 3rd, but they couldn't keep their offensive intensity level high enough to overcome the hole they were in already. In the 4th it just got away from them after the Spurs starting getting a few shots to drop.

Overall, the Spurs played good defense for about 3.5 quarters. That blazing hot 1st quarter pretty much put the game away though. I think the Heat are coasting again. They are playing well enough to compete but not well enough to win. That has to irk Spo, because he knows they know they can flip the switch when they want, but coaches don't want that switch in the coast mode, ever.

6-14 FG, only 4 assists for our "MVP PG"... Tony's kryptonite, per par.

    6-23 will always haunt us.

there was 4 spurs possession when he took 2 straight bricks, and the went down again with another brick effort

im glad he knew when to fkn stop after learning or not, that finals hard lesson choke job enrique mode...he stop and started to defer to duncan

if only this re played like this for the last 7 years in the playoffs the outcomes of the series wouldve been much different...

give credit where credit is due, diaw, patty, kl and duncan had good games

dont know why pop was chewing into patty, when he basically kept the bench to hold the lead...
