The objectives are clear. I see them, therefore I'm not all butthurt. In fact I applaud what our FO is doing this season. I trust MK, the GM of our last 3 rangs who was also very instrumental in the previous 5. The Lakers will rise again son. We always do.
    trust in kupcake

i remember when Al Davis was a great GM too... now you have a guy trading 3 picks for Nash and resorting to #StayDwert12 banners to resign his star player, while giving Kobe a 48 million dollar contract

We're on a mission son. There are two objectives to the rest of this season for LkrFan. Both are predicated on us losing. So in essence, thanks for helping the cause son.
    There's losing, and then there's 48

obviously, the effect of the win on spurfan was amplified by 6 and the finals in general. but i dont wanna hear any bull about miami coasting that game, we all watched it. the game itself doesn't mean that much, its a regular season game. but with how ty the spurs had been against good teams earlier in the year, and with recent wins against the clippers/blazers, it was good to see us take it to miami

    - I was spared from seeing that fest tbh. My boss is on leave. I'm his acting director while he's gone. Too much actual work to do to be able to watch that stain.

i specifically said "the game itself doesn't mean that much, its a regular season game"

it was a relief in spurfan's eyes to see the team be able to play at the same level they were at last year, especially considering our dismal record against the top teams before the last couple of weeks. there were doubts that we even had it in us to play at a high level based on how we had performed against those teams

They met years ago while hanging out at the horse tracks. One of them was trying to manage his rich and famous father’s horses. The other was a garrulous sort, oodles of charm but no money. He was looking to find his luck.
The horse business didn’t work out so famously for either of them. But they had found each other and friendship is always a rare and precious discovery.

    Chaz Osborne
would say time and again over the ensuing years that he would have nothing if it weren’t for Jim Buss. “Jim, that’s his boy,” explained one of Osborne’s friends recently.

Jim Buss would later explain his horse experience by saying that he found “some success” there.

The other one third of the scouting for Jim Buss’s Lakers is Jesse Buss, a younger brother in his early 20s who, according to media reports, was arrested a while back on an alcohol-related charge while on a scouting trip in Kentucky. That doesn’t surprise some around the Lakers, because Jesse Buss has been known to entertain quite an entourage while following the team. - See more at:
