Inside Texas reporting ATH Hanner Shipley (cousin of Jaxon and Jordan) has been offered by Texas.
He is already committed to LSU as a TE, a position he wants to stay at, but he looks destined for the OL.

Mack was a huge proponent of an early signing period. It makes sense for those that want to get it out of the way. I like signing day, but if kids want to get it over with it helps with eliminating all the phone calls.
I thought it was just polite flirting on his part.
Exciting news, but I'm still tempering my erection until signing day.
@KFlahertyScout: Sounds like Bryce English is showing out at Rivals camp. Not a surprise, given his junior tape, which was really impressive.
Note on UT DT commit Bryce English of Desoto.
MAX_olson: Hanner Shipley (@HannerShipley), cousin of the famed receivers, offered by Texas as a tackle. He wants to be TE, still solid with LSU
After offer Hanner Shipley had mentioned he was still solid with LSU but then tweeted this: @HannerShipley: There is no doubt in my mind that coach Wickline is going to get the UT oline where they need to be!!
Causes one to wonder if there is still a bit of hope that he reconsiders his decision.
According to Rivals.... he is "High" on Texas and "Medium" on all others, but who really knows?
He was considered a big Texas lean before the coaching change and they probably haven't updated. I believe at a summer camp last year he proclaimed the Longhorns were his leader. Ags thought to be the other frontrunner along with Texas at this point.
To clarify, he didn't name a leader. That post makes it look like aggy is on top.
Duane Akina has accepted the Stanford DB job.
Best look at the offseason so far:

My bad, should have clarified. He currently does not hold an A&M offer (at least not publicly). Rumors of academic qualification worries is the reason why from what I have read.

That would be only logical explanation IMO. You don't recruit somebody hard for so long and not technically offer unless some rationale like academic concerns.
I don't know anything about him, but to be a '17 recruit and have more than 2,500 followers is pretty impressive.
^has been huge on texas for a while its his dream school
it's not hard to generate twitter followers on the cheap, unfortunately.
Some info along with a highlight film I found for Darrion Green:

@BFeldmanCBS
#Texas QB Jerrod Heard has filled out quite a bit since the summer. Says he's up to 205 lbs.
Heard will also be spending his springbreak working with the 'quaterback whisperer' george whitfield
Not really news, but Texas is officially out of it for five-star QB Josh Rosen.
Texas still has not contacted him since Strong was hired. He is expected to choose UCLA next week.
can we get his deposition video from 4 days ago? in front of barnes and let the university know that we don't give a how famous that is, having no respect for the law is not something we want our university associated with.
