    I really want to know where Hakeem Nicks is going to land. This is someone well worth the risk especially for a 1 year deal, tbh. He isn't getting a big deal like he wants.

    Read somewhere that Carolina is interested and may possibly be at the top of the list. Low risk high reward type player imo

    He was traded for a 5th Round Draft Pick, so I would assume so. If we had released him, I'm assuming we would have had to pay him a portion of his remaining contract per the terms.

    Can't say without knowing the contract. They don't recoup bonus money, but if any of his base salary is guaranteed for this season, they would get that back.
